  1. I could see giving-up the Bills' 1st and getting the Bears' 3rd rounder, but no way a swap of firsts and the Bears' 4th rounder. And Jauron coached Briggs and he's a stud who in the cover-2. How could the Bills NOT be interested? As for Turner, I see your point WRT contract. And I agree it's a big risk.
  2. Yeah, chicken legs? That must be SOME breading on them. And Turner is faster than Tomlinson.
  3. That was an ass-kicking. Nice game against a quality opponent to sew up the division and Eastern Conference, on the road no less!
  4. Okay HM, riddle me this. If the Bills are looking at LB in the 1st and RB in the 2nd (assuming Peterson is gone and Lynch isn't worth a 1st rounder), wouldn't you rather have Briggs and Turner?
  5. The article said he had a meeting today in Buffalo. And Dillon may retire (good). And just say no to a 1st rounder for Turner, or even a swap of 1sts.
  6. Her name is Rachel Specter. http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0geu5...t-501&x=wrt
  7. If you do one, you'll find some other nice pics of her.
  8. It's funny how a little defense helps Peyton look like Tommy Boy in the playoffs.
  9. Ha ha, nice April Fool's joke. Spragan is NOT white.
  10. Ellison will be a stud for this team. Wire not so much. Spragan would be good for depth and has starting experience.
  11. I've read that McCargo was starting to play better before getting injured from the "experts." I'll try to dig up the articles if I can find them. And the fact that he had the screw placed makes me less worried than if they'd merely just operated on his foot again and done nothing different. Still though, taking the "we'll suck because nothing has changed" is the easy fallback position. The market was weak for DT's this year and there's no guarantee a rookie DT will do anything for the Bills, so expecting improvement from the youngsters and Darwin Walker seems reasonable to me, again based on what we HAVE seen (I agree on Youboty, who is wholly unproven). I mean, it's not like I looking for Tim Anderson to be the savior. And remember this is everyone's second year in the system. As for Ryans, I doubt the people voting on him for DROTY based solely on his tackle stats. If that was the case, LFB would have made the Pro Bowl sometime in the last 5 years. Using your words, the Bills can find good players in the draft. Unless you think that the Bills are the only team unable to do so. And my example on Pennington was merely an example. The better example was when I mentioned Jason Peters.
  12. I agree with everything you said. But my main point was that drugs still make it to the market that end-up killing their users. I'm advocating waiting 5 years before using a medication, since that seems to be the timeframe for drugs to show themselves.
  13. McCargo was starting to play well before getting injured, so it's not like I'm pulling stuff out of my backside here. And in his most recent surgery, they inserted a screw to stabilize his foot, which they didn't do the first time. Being that he's a former 1st round pick, I think I have reason to expect him to be a major contributor, along with Kyle Williams, in his 2nd year in the NFL. And why not keep Kelsay AND Hargrove? They have the money and Kelsay is a good player and person to have in the lockerroom. Your contention is that letting LFB go was a mistake yet you bash Ryans. Which is it? Also take into consideration that Ryans is 9 years younger than LFB and hasn't even reached his prime yet. Again, the point is YOURS, i.e. that you can find good players in the draft. So the answer is to UNDERestimate our players? Sure, that's the easy thing to do. And again the point was that Pennington was a late-round pick, like O'Callaghan was for the Pats. I don't know if O'Callaghan has the RT spot sewn-up (he started mostly because former starter Nick Kazcur was injured) but competition is always a good thing, when you can add it.
  14. All drugs go through clinical trials, controlled by the drug company. How many drugs still hit the market, only to be pulled years later for killing people?
  15. Well for starters, the Bills will be getting back McCargo, who is bigger and more experienced than he was last year. Same goes for Kyle Williams. And Walker was a great addition. Additionally, Anthony Hargrove will get a full off-season, training camp, and pre-season, unlike last year when he joined the Bills in-season. Believe me when I say that DL is not a major concern of mine anymore, barring injuries. At LB, I'm fine with Crowell playing anywhere and Ellison starting, and I'll leave it up to the Bills to determine which LB'er they should add in the draft (i.e. MLB like Willis with Crowell playing OLB or an OLB with Crowell playing MLB). Like with McNeill, a 2nd round MLB was DROTY last year (DeMeco Ryans), so it's not impossible for a rookie to make an impact. ...Jason Peters was an UDFA. So too did Terrence Pennington.
  16. The moral of the story is...when a new drug comes out, wait a few years before taking it.
  17. Marcus McNeill is the exception, NOT the rule. Really? Can I borrow your crystal ball?
