I am not sure if I will continue to watch every week. It seems easier and more rewarding to just rent the DVDs when they come out. The show is not as good as it used to be. I just don't look forward to it as much anymore. Now Battlestar Galactica on the other hand....

Yes. And no. Shuttles routinely go through maintenance to upgrade hardware and software. That is where Endeavor is right now, in fact. While they no longer have the old school IBMs with the computing power of a modern calculator, it really doesn't need as much power as one would think. For example, 99% of the launch and 90% of the landing is automated from mission control. The shuttle astronauts flip switches and monitor thier progress, as if they could actually do anything should an emergency arrive. Mission control is flying the bird...

IF that is the case and they choose to not make the most of thier opportunity here. If they squander their chance to do something with thier majority, then the people will vote them back out, same as what happened last night...

I would say that most of the ground Dims gained was because they ran more moderate to conservative party members. They did not win this election with liberal agenda...

I am currently in the design phase of building an arcade cabinet to house a MAME system. There are tons of emulators out there that run just about every system known. I am going to focus on MAME (which runs coin-op arcade games) for this one. Here's how it works: You connect the microswitches running the buttons, joystick, trackball etc, to a device called a keyboard emulator. The emulator can be programed to simulate key strokes. The emulator is connected to a PC which houses and runs the game. I think I am going to use spiltters so I can have a real keyboard for setups and downloading new ROMS for future expansion. Fun, fun, now if I can only save enough money to make it happen...

Wiggins - They guy couldn't see the play clearly in real time. Browns-Jets - Replay shouldn't determine the outcome of games. Those were condensed versions of what he said. From what I could remember. Watch it yourself on NFL.com and see if I heard it correctly... EDIT: The Jets reciever was called out based on a judgement call, and they are not reviewable by replay. LAME.

Speaking of which, did anyone see that lame excuse Mike Perererereria gave on total Access last night for the Wiggins Catch and the Jets-Browns game? Note to Mike, if you are going to have a segment where you explain calls, sometimes you bite the bullet and say your guy made a mistake, apologize, say you will get it right next time and move on. Watching this guy tap dance over why the Wigging call was upheld was disgusting. And not just because it was against NE. He basically said that the speed on the field didn't allow the ref to see the play the way the replay did. But that is why there is replay, right? The Jets got screwed because in the opinion of Mike Pereerereeria, he doesn't want replay to run the game. What a fuggin toolbox. Mike Pererereria is a joke....

Those commercials are awesome! The newest one, which I have only seen once, has the guy in the restroom when the boss monkey comes in. The boss monkey gives the employee his perfomance review at the urinal, talks about a raise, and they guy goes, "but that's less than I make now sir" as the boss is walking out. Hilarious!
