I agree, on the condition that teachers are actually able to (gasp) make children accountable, and are able to disipline children who overstep the boundries. I know it will never happen, so you will never get teachers who want to teach. Would you want to try and teach some kid something, when their answer consists of, "f-you, f-off you can't do S%$^ to me"?

Perhaps Ben Linus will attempt to convert Jack into one of the others. Could some of the others have been captured and converted? This would seem likely, as they converted (sucessfully?) Alex. They also never say what happened to the rest of the survivors that were kidnapped from the tail section. It would seem at this point extremely unlikely that they were just killed outright by the others, as they likely could have killed everyone on the island in an instant if they wanted. Everytime I am ready to give up on this show...

I actually liked this episode. It was infinitely better than the opener (yawner). The comment about sailing in circles lends more weight to the arguement that the island is impossible to escape without knowing how. Since the others had to give Micheal coordinates to leave the island, it is likely that the magnetic anomaly interferes with navigation. Ben didn't seem concerned at all until the blondie mentioned that thier lair might be found. BTW, How friggin stupid do you have to be to not assume the others will try and steal the sailboat instead of a head-on confrontation? Why they didn't have Sun (who can sail) take the boat out into the ocean and wait for a signal to keep the boat from falling into enemy hands is unbelievable. And the Iraqi is supposedly a master of warfare? Stupid, stupid...

Sorry, I don't agree. I feel that a season opener should have a little more substance than that. The beginning I will admit was good, I do like the fact that they have an entire town set up, but that doesn't really explain much does it? Dolphins, wow. Look honey, the dolphins are playing!!!!!! We knew Jack felt responsible for killing his dad, probably more due to the fact that he had him disbarred from the AMA. If you want to see what a season opener should be, watch BSG. I'll give this show a few more episodes. The next week looks promising...

Wow, they have some serious ballz playing the record in its entirety. Start to finish, plus 23:58, Iron Maiden, The Evil that Men Do, Fear of the Dark, and Hallowed be Thy Name. SOme people are already pissed off about that, as they likely want to hear more of the old songs. I say be very fuggin thankful they even come within five hundred miles of your city, I don't have that luxury. Ken, I agree Breeg is a pretty decent song, I am not sure why so many people are down on it. All in all, a terriffic album. Now if I can only catch a show...

Now THAT is how a season opener should go. Not like this OTHER show I watch...
