    The problem with JP is that he hasn't even played a full season yet even tho he is a 3 year pro. We don't know what we have. I hope Marv and Dick realize that this is a rebuilding year and if the vets don't like it, cut them.

    Why would a team trade for him when they know they can have him for a price and not lose any draft picks? He will be an UFA after this season. Other teams are bidding their time to see how much he's worth. But I agree that we need studs up front to win.

    It only means something by game 4 when all mistakes and other problems should be resolved like false starts, dropped passes, etc. And if they're not, players need to be benched or cut out right! I think it's quite laughable if people on this board think that Jauron has started to pen in starters for the regular season right now.

    Wow this is certainly very telling. Preston certainly has the size for the position but he must be dumb as a rock not to earn backup duties here.

    I think JP plays most of the first half next week and maybe more depending on how well he does. He will be pulled if he plays badly like Kelly did.

    Don't kid yourself, Wire will NOT be starting at SS if Marv and Dick want to win any games at all this season. If he does, you know Coy's got some dirty nasty ace sheet of both of them in the janitor's closet or something. *puke*

    I have to admit that I also didn't see much of a pass rush from the front four but you have to remember what kind of line they have! The same goes for KC and Pittsburgh--high quality lines that play at PB levels.

    We'll have to wait and see what he can do against 1st stringers not backups and camp fodder. I am hoping he is it, or it will be a very long season again.

    Let's reserve judgment until JP plays at least a half against starters. This game means nothing to the offense. However, multiple dropped INT's is a very bad sign.
