    No, Davis was always a mid round prospect. Davis was going somewhere in the 3rd-4th round. Franklin has been in discussions for the late first and early 2nd. If Franklin had a Worthy like combine he’s probably going before 28. Because he tested poorly he’s definitely there at 28 and maybe even falls to them in the 2nd.

    Who remembers Beane hoping Gabe Davis didn’t run well at the combine? Hmm. I don’t think the Bills care about the combine workouts at all. Probably more interested in the meetings.

    I honestly thought Franklin would test amazing. His tape shows everything. I thought he was a top 20 player on tape and his testing would confirm that. Maybe the Bills got lucky he tested poorly?

    One question I have is wouldn’t the team trading for Diggs actually get him much cheaper? I think that is the case, which would make him a decent value. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

    Next year it’s release or a 4th or lower depending on his season. I wouldn’t trade him now for a mid round pick, I’ll make that clear. But if we get offered a 2nd or better we should move on. He can still play, no doubt, this would be a business decision. Get younger at the position and maybe still find a WR1 now with a trade up in the draft.

    I know this is hard for people but he’s going sometime soon. You’re not going to keep paying him $27+ million forever. The question is do we get something decent for him?

    So value is a 4th round pick proven by Keenan Allen. If some team starts throwing a 2nd+ at the Bills I’m taking it and running. Don’t talk to me about dead money. I’m about to get a WR1 after trading up for peanuts.

    Bills are probably 7th or 8th best roster in the AFC. But we have the 2nd or 3rd best QB.

    Honestly they probably should’ve traded Diggs when he wanted more money in 2022. That’s a tough decision that not many fans would’ve liked. I hope the Bills never pay a 29 year old WR top 5 money again unless he’s just a rare talent.

    Different talents. Shakir definitely has an ability to make plays though. He’s also a great fit for what Joe Brady wants to do.

    Bills felt WR1 and WR2 were set. Chiefs traded WR1 for a lot of draft assets. Chiefs haven’t felt set at WR1 or WR2 since 2021. There’s a big difference.

    Definitely. He also has more upside than we’ve seen. I think he could have career years in Buffalo.
