    I use to watch the Ottawa brawl probably once a week with a huge smile on my face. Rick was the best.

    But why are we traumatized? I can list more Bills QBs injured at camp than preseason. JP Losman and whoever that guy was that slip on a mat. Let’s just hope no one gets hurt. It’s how I approach every camp and preseason. I’m not going to blame the coaches if someone gets hurt.

    Tell that to Joe Burrow and Teddy Bridgewater. Feet get tangled. Muscles get pulled. Things happen. Who’s the last starting QB to get injured in preseason? I’m sure there’s a lot of them the way people talk. Maybe it’s Josh Allen tomorrow. 🥺

    Honestly though it seems like a better plan to play the backup QB with the starters when you have a veteran franchise QB that doesn’t need the work. Not really about injury prevention but it’s a good way to get a look at your backup QB. That’s how I would do it.

    You only take like 15-20 snaps in a whole preseason now a days, if that. Camp is hundreds of reps.

    Lloyd did struggle a lot as a rookie but is having a good camp this year. I’m not sure I would’ve taken Lloyd anyway looking back, probably OL.

    I apologize to everyone that’s been talking about MLB all offseason. I wasn’t worried because I thought they had a plan. Turns out there was no plan, just hope.

    An undrafted and 2 3rd round reaches was the competition. I’m very concerned with the coaches and management.

    Dolphins with some bad luck so far in practice. Hopefully he’s good to go.

    I don’t think preseason is needed to get ready for the season but I also think the injury risk is low. Especially for a QB. The players we probably should worry most about are the ones running and cutting and blocking.

    If MLB is a revolving door this year it’s a major failure. We’ll see. I felt very confident that they knew what they were doing.

    SIT ALLEN UNTIL THE PLAYOFFS! Tom Brady use to play a lot in preseason. Belichick would get criticism. Brady got hurt the first series of the regular season one year. I know fans hate losing a player in a preseason game but he can just as easily get hurt in practice.

    I would only get upset if they started Josh with backups.

    I don’t really watch sports shows anymore. Actually I don’t watch at all. I mostly listen to podcasts if anything. Use to watch ESPN all day long. It’s nothing they did but now everything is instant or on demand. Highlights I get on YouTube.

    What’s funny is we don’t even run that many designed QB runs in the regular season. People think we run Josh like crazy. Josh chooses to run. My guess is the Bills average like 1 QB designed run per game. Maybe 1.5. I’ve always said sit Josh until the playoffs. Why risk him?

    Josh is smart enough to avoid hits in preseason. I’ve always said I’m more worried about hits in the pocket. And we saw last year why.
