  1. But after we get rid of the bad players ..... and get rid of the overpriced players .... then get rid of the malcontents ........ exactly who will still be on the team?????
  2. Actually one positive we can take away from todays game is ......... New England had a total of 82 plays on offense ..... they only scored 5 times ....... therefore ..... our defense prevented them from scoring on 94% of their plays. Sounds kind of impresive when you say it that way, doesn't it
  3. Too bad Eric Moulds wasn't sitting in Ralphs skybox saying ....... told ya so .... told ya so .... told ya so ... nah nahnah nah
  4. That's a Mike Vick type of performance ......... Vick sometimes is the Falcons leading rusher too
  5. McGahee ...... 8 attempts ....... 3 yards ...... with his longest carry being 3 yards .... gotta love this guys breakaway speed
  6. By running Moulds out of town it opens up the door to draft a speedy undersized wide reciever ......... are there any out there
  7. Contract reduction talks .......... yeah right ....... that's rich. I would hazard a guess that right about now Eric feels not only "dissed" by the organization ........ but also robbed of a weeks worth of pay. The only way he stays in Buffalo is with a new coaching staff ....... and being paid what his contract calls for ...... the Bills have no leverage ..... if Eric plays for less (and I think he will end up getting less) he plays for another team.
  8. Thanks ........ but no thanks I am suspending myself from being a Bills fan for one week without pay ....... I've been a Bills fan from the beginning, through thick and thin ...... but I need a break ..... this week I'm rooting for another team.
  9. Oh ...... Oh ...... Oh ....... I thought of another; He has all but erraticated jelousy on the team by cutting/declaring inactive/suspending our pro-bowl level players .......... now the rest of the stiffs we have on the team won't be moping around while some players are enjoying themselves in Hawaii .................... now all he needs to do is find an excuse to end Fletcher and Moormans season and his job here is complete.
  10. He has more than doubled the size of our playbook by adding a chapter of "trick plays" Our playbook is now of sufficient bulk to effectively press autumn leaves ........ not worth a crap to run a football game with ...... but great for leave preservation.
  11. And why would that be ........ as per the board he is an over age, over paid, has been who is only a drain on the teams cap space. add that to the newfound fact that he is a disruption to the team, and I would think sending him to New England or Miami, or the Jets would be a good thing for the Bills
  12. If you are looking for "normal" ........ you're looking in the wrong place As far as JP ........ prior to the benching incident ...... IMHO .... he was well on his way to being labled a bust. However, since his benching I think he's make a little bit of progress every week ....... I'm still not ready to hang the superstar label on him yet ..... but he's getting better ....... and afterall, that's pretty much all we can realistically ask from him.
  13. If the fans start to chant this Sunday, MM will declare the entire population of Western New York as dispruptive, and suspend everyone for the rest of the season.
  14. While I agree that we don't know exactly what happened with Moulds ...... we also don't know exactly know what happened with Adams either ...... as a matter of fact we also don't know what happened with Ruben Brown. All we really know is that for some reason the brain trust at One Bills Drive felt they were being "disruptive" and had to be eliminated from the team. There comes a time when an individual who feels everyone around him is crazy (or disruptive) must start to look at himself.
  15. OK .......... you have Phil Jackson drawing up a play ........ do you think he may be qualified ..... do you think you should have confidence with his strategy. I would think so. Now you have Mike Mularkey ...... who has done what exactly ..... do you think Ruben Brown, Sam Adams, and/or Eric Moulds may be qualified to raise the "bull sh-- flag". It's a question of qualifications ....... I know MM is the coach ....... and the players are the players ......... and coaches should coach, and players should play ..... but when the established vets start telling the rookie coach he's all F'd up ...... maybe just MAYBE ...... the coach is all F'd up. Maybe MM should hesitate for a second or two and rethink his position rather than try and paint the vet as a malcontent.
  16. can I change my vote to the whole damn front office has to go
  17. win loss record ...... or even sucessful season or not .... you are pretty much right, it makes no difference wether Moulds plays or not these last four games. However, is IS a reflection of how the front office is running this team into the dirt. Our pro-bowl left guard doesn't like the way we are playing and has "issues" with the game plan ....... fine cut him ..... he's an over rated false starting over paid player anyway ......... our best DT has "issues" with the way we are game planning ..... fine ... sit his sorry butt, put him on the inactive list ..... he's an over rated lazy tub of goo anyway. Our best vet wide out has "issues" with the offensive game plan ....... fine ..... write him out of the gameplan ..... suspend his whiny butt ...... he's over the hill anyway. It's not like some raw rookie is taking exception with Tunas game plans ....... it's not like somebody calling out Dungy as a weak coach .......... these are proven veterans talking about a team that can't play its way out of a paper bag. I'm sorry ....... Moulds not playing may make no difference in wins and losses ...... but Moulds not playing makes a whole bunch of difference on whether we have a class organization or not. I'm beginning to believe this organization is rotten from the top to the bottom.
  18. Well I agree it may not be rocket surgery ....... however I propose that analysis of the playcalling after the outcome is known may not be entirely fair either .... case in point is the Losman interception that everybody pretty much agrees was a boneheaded playcall. If we look at the series of plays preceding the infamous call; run ...... 1 yard pass ......8 yards run ...... 1 yard run ...... -4 yards pass ..... 10 yards pass ..... 9 yards pass ..... 5 yards run ...... 10 yards run ...... -3 yards pass ..... 22 yards I think it could safely be said the daolphins were playing our run game pretty damn well ..... with the exception of the 10 yard run they were in fact stuffing our run game (and it can be argued that that good run was set up with our success in our passing game). NOW ...... without the known outcome ........ we have four downs to score ... we are in the shadows of the goalposts ....... I don't think it's a far stretch to trust our QB to either find a lead chinch open reciever or throw the ball away. In effect either scoring a TD ..... or ...... keeping the defense honest respecting our willingness to throw. Gutsy call ..... you betcha ....... risky call ....... hell yeah ........ but not nearly as bad a call as the fans and media make it out to be. We lost the game because we were unable to score any offensive points in the last 50 minutes of the game ....... we lost the game because or defense let some bench warming career backup named after a spice put up career passing numbers in only one quarter of a football game ...... we lost the game because we let a reciever who has been plagued with the dropsies his entire career run up and down the field unhindered.
  19. Does that mean we are also going to get a "fiery QB"????
  20. Why is it common "knowlege" that it takes a rookie QB a few years to learn his craft, it takes a WR two or three years to play up to his potential, it takes the offensive line "time to gel" .......... but if a rookie head coach doesn't take a team (he inherited) to the playoffs in two years he's a failure???? Are we satisfied with the team TD has assembled for MM???? If so lets start cutting TD a break, if not, maybe we need to cut this coaching staff a break.
  21. All of the fire MM talk brings up an interesting thought ...... We all agree that a rookie player in most positions needs time to "learn" his role or position within the NFL game. Case in point is that we all are willing to take our "lumps" with JP with the knowledge that he will (or should) "grow into the position". Shouldn't a "rookie" head coach deserve the same consideation? I am not either advocating keeping MM ...... nor cutting JP for poor performance, just pointing out that both have both have had shortcomings at times (as should be expected). The way I see it ..... the coaching staff either has the horses to compete and fail, therefore it's their fault and the front office types are blameless (TD and others), or the coaching staff doesn't have the horses and are failing trying to cover their weaknesses, which would indicate that TD, scouting department, etc are to blame and the coaching staff deserve a second chance. We are calling for a house cleaning on the board ...... is it necessary???? Do we have talent and can't coach them?????? Do we have a team of stiffs, and can't cover up our various holes?????? I must admit ..... I'm trying real hard to like this coaching staff ... not sure why ... but I just WANT to like them. But with his arrogant nature and snide ass remarks (telling the fans to "save their postage" etc) I want to hate TD. So if I get a vote ......... can TD ..... keep the coaches and let them mature together (at least for another few years).
  22. By jove I think you've got it!!!!! An even better scenario would be to get another DT who can also crushes the middle of the pocket ....... and they can alternate "staying at home" and persuing the QB. ala Sam and Pat
  23. That "it's Ralph Wilson's fault" line is a load of crap ........ he's the owner ..... his responsibility is to sign the checks ...... that's it, nothing more. I haven't heard of any of those checks bouncing lately, so he's doing his job just fine. It's his responsibility to hire and fire his "football people" you may say ...... and that is correct ....... however, what good would it do to fire TD right now? For all we know Ralph may have already made up his mind to can TD at the end of the season ..... maybe ... maybe not ... but the bottom line is that it is HIS team .... as much as we would like to think that the Bills belong to us fans, they don't, they belong to Ralph, because he signs those aforementioned checks. He has never been an over meddlesome owner .... he's had his moments for sure .... but never along the lines of a snyder or Jones ...... but then again when the team is playing with your money you have a right to meddle every once in a while. I guess what I'm trying to say is he has hired men to run his football .... and when he decides that those men are running HIS team into the ground he will fire them.
