Not necessarily about him personally - could be they just don't want media, gawkers, etc.

Interesting article - well written too.
Not sure what to make of this though
At one recent practice, Scott was unsure how to block a certain play. He asked position coach Sean Kugler for the answer. Kugler was unsure -
I'd check out Robert Randolph & the Family Band, too, if I were you.
I saw them open for the Black Crowes a couple years ago (or last year?) - I really enjoyed them. I thought it was really cool at one point they *all* started swapping instruments during a jam - and were all really playing - never had seen anything like that before...

The voided trade last year probably has a lot to do with it. Teams probably won't waste time on it if they think he won't pass a physical.
“I definitely like coach Sanders,” McCargo said. “He’s more of a teacher and has taught us some new techniques with hand work and he has some new skills that he coached in Green Bay that I think will definitely help me out and all of us out. He wants us to do well and we appreciate that and we just try to work hard for him. I like the way he teaches and I think it will benefit us.”
I hope that's true. It seems the Bills have most of the pieces they need, it's just a matter of getting the most out of them. In January of next year I'll tell ya how I think it went.
Article was an interesting read - playing w/ injury - allegedly prevented him from being in top shape and moving like he wanted/needed - also feeling like he was playing too heavy. I took the quote above to be a shot at Kollar...

For the first few albums ZZ Top was really a force. Tres Honbres was incredible, IMO. Of course, their quality decreased as they became popular...pretty much standard for most bands/artists.
Legend has it that Jimi Hendrix once said Billy Gibbons was his favorite gutarist (a band Gibbons was in once opened for Hendrix).
ZZ Top was absolutely my favorite band when I was young - they are the definition of a great rock band turned to a crappy cliche. Most of their popularity came when they had already sold out. If you want to hear real raw blues/rock listen to 'ZZ Top's First Album' - I bet half the people who know the band from their 'popular' era wouldn't even recognize it as the band. The irony is the liner notes from the first album go on about how the band is about pure, guitar-based gimmick-free rock and roll - and they are now most famous for crappy synth-infused songs and long beards

KISS! Detroit Rock City!
Funny - my kids were guessing earlier who might come out and sing w/ Adam and we were guessing Aerosmith, AC/DC etc. and out of nowhere, just before he comes out my son yells out "KISS!" My daughter was mostly fascinated by one thing - "Look at that guy's tongue!!!

Evans said he was confident because he had been practicing hard on his Wii and is a regular Wiffle ball player in the Bills' field house.Edwards called to his teammate. "It was a solid swing. I was happy he made contact. He's obviously not on the quarterback level and receivers are a different breed. Quarterbacks are good at golf, baseball, football. Lee has some distance to travel."

I was in the end zone where all the 1st half scoring was. It was such a surreal experience - the game over by halftime - just a big party in the stands - people in delerious disbelief - then every once in a while it would hit you "We are going to the F'in Super Bowl!!!!!" Impossible for younger fans who grew up with/after the Super Bowl teams to really understand how absolutely starved everyone was for something like that in Buffalo - and how impossible it all seemed. Unbelievable.
Interesting too - Enberg mentions the Gulf War at one point - that just added to how surreal everything was.
God it was great to see Thurman in his prime - just the best.

There are many possibilities for OL - it would be interesting to consider every possible permutation.
BTW - what music are you listening to? What does your wacky screen name mean?

Vince Offer (the Shamwow® douchebag with a headset) is a close second
How about a Cage Match with the ShamWow guy, Billy Mays, and a hooker?

How bizarre is it that his path back to the NFL was due in part to being a babysitter for Derrik Dockery'?

At this point, why bother?, You currently have a player who was 4th round rookie last year (Derek Fine) and hurt most of the year and a guy with two years exp (Derek Schoman) who not sure what round he was drafted or by who. Neither of those players have been around long enough to know how good they might be. Unless you get lucky anyone you get at this point likely isn't going to be better than the current players, so I think you're better going with best player available and maybe pick up another FA tight end someplace rather than "waste" and I use that term loosely another pick. Usually after the draft there's a bunch of more signings, maybe you get one there or a training camp cut from soneone. I also would be fine with a trade with some team, but I see no need in drafting one at this point . You can't keep chasing draft picks every year and right away give up on whom you already have. That's the long term secret to failure!
But wherever they may get another TE from, just make sure his first name is Derek!
I agree - what's the point? Drafting a 2nd day TE to replace some other 2nd day TE already w/ experience on the roster?

You know what would really stink? If the guy comes back, gets on with the Cowboys, and makes the Pro Bowl like the rest of their players because it's a popularity vote because he actually decides to dedicate himself to the game and try to be the best possible player he can

I don't think he was necessarily underrated in his time - but Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits I think has been overlooked/forgotten over time.

Awesome. Now if the guy can make a movie out of "Goodnight Moon", I'll be really impressed!
Ha - when I started reading the thread I was thinking the same thing

"If you can play on Sunday and help us win I don't care about anything else"
Requisite Dumb Question: "If TO comes to you and says where's a good place to hang - do you know the kind of places he might want to hang out at?"
Good answer: "Probably won't be with me - with three kids and a wife - he probably won't want to hang out with me"
Also - cleared on injury - ready to go

Has anybody seen the stock pic of Fitzpatrick floating around? He looks like Cro-Magnon man. He'll soon be crying himself to sleep on his gigantic pillow.
"Your unimaginative offense with lack of big play capability confuses and frightens me"

Don't know all the details of this - but were the weather conditions that day bad enough that they shouldn't have gone? I assume it is the captain's responsibility to check the weather and make sure everything is safe - is it common for these kind of charters for the owners/captains to take chances? (we go to the coast a lot, and I have gone on a few onshore charters - but I am always wary of the ones that go way out just because of something like this...)

Former Buffalo Brave & Buff St Grad Randy Smith died

RIP Randy - a real hometown hero to any kid who grew up w/ the Braves (and ever tried to emulate the Randy leg kick on their jumpers). God I loved the Braves.
When I was a kid, not sure how it started but from the time I was 10 yrs old at basketball practices we would always call 'suicide' sprints 'Randys' - it wasn't until later that I realized everyone didn't call them that. I still have to catch myself sometimes on teams I coach to not call them that...
