  1. Most big runs against us are cutbacks where Poz has overrun them.

This is exactly what I've seen - regardless of the coverage/scheme - there have been a lot of gashes up the middle where if you look Poz has overrun the play to one side or even worse has just gotten easily pushed out of the way to one side or the other. Another thing for me personally is that I feel there are many plays where he could be sticking himself in there but ends up kind of just jogging up to the play and never even delivering a hit (to me Mitchell has phases where he does this too). How many times have we seen him hit a gap and deliver a crushing blow knocking someone backward?

  2. This team needs an identity/attitude overhaul - from somnambulant to some blue collar!

I don't think I've ever had less respect for a Bills team - and like all long time Bills fans I've lived through absoltely horrible teams over the decades - but I think this is the worst I've ever felt. The absolute last straw was all the whining about the weather the last couple weeks by the players - WTF?!?!? I would honestly give my left nut for Cowher - give him the title of GM as well and total control. Maybe he could even lure LeBeau away as DC. Most important - I F'ing guarantee Cowher would at least bring an attitude where the fans could be proud of the toughness and effort of the players on the field - and I F'ing guarantee players wouldn't be bitching about cold weather under his regime - !@#$ing EMBRACE it. GDamn pussies!

Don't think I've ever been more jealous of a team than watching the Steelers play this year - toughness and will - THAT's what Buffalo teams should be - that's what Buffalo fans DESERVE - I'm so sick of this sh--.

  3. I know the Bills suck, JP is awful, Jauron is a cyborg...no human emotions. However.. Does anyone really think that Chad Pennington and his Dolphins would have come into cold, blustery RWS and played turnover free football?!? Not a CHANCE! ALso, everytime i saw one of Chad's lovely arching lob throws, i know that same pass would have been tough to complete in the elements. This isn't sour grapes. In retrospect it's obvious that game #1 of the Bills "Series" in Toronto really may have played a huge part in costing them the game.

One of the saddest parts of this teams demise is that poor weather likely affords absolutely no advantage to us anymore - if anything it probably more negatively affects us than most teams who would come visit (including warm weather ones). In just cold weather, to a man they look like they just can't stand even being out there, don't want to have anything to do with what is going on out there, and can't wait to get back inside for some nice hot cocoa.

  4. I liked the opening film on Losman when Gannon talked about Losman's decision-making. He looked at his primary receiver for too long, then he looked at his secondary receiver, then there was a big question mark over his head.

Hilarious - I was at a bar w/ no sound on for the game - see this sequence look right, freeze, look left freeze, then they freeze it it with the big question mark above his head  - was thinking if there ever was a perfect picture that captured a thousand words (obscenities) over the years...

I only saw the first half - and the whole time watching JP play *EXACTLY* the same as ever - never feeling really comfortable watching it - things just never really coming together or clicking - bad plays and plays just bad enough to not be good (and the requisite ball being knocked out of his hand). God I honestly hate watching games when he plays now.

  5. Not necessarily. What Guy and Modrak need is a GM with nads and a plan to right the ship. Obviously, Ralph doesn't have the time, energy, or the depth of field on the necessary personnel moves at this stage of the game.... and for God sakes, Brandon has no clue... he's just a damn good salesman. 50% of TBD'ers could probably put together a better team within the same constraints he has.

You bring in a football guy as GM... one that is a straight shooter and up front with everyone, and has a clear plan. That person would spell out the expectations for Guy and Modrak. If those two aren't in lock step with that.... then adios... we'll get someone that will.

I was going to say - the biggest reason Guy and Modrak are still here was the desire to maintain 'continuity' in the front office when Marv left, when no actual 'GM' was hired to replace him. To really makeover the front office would require a strong GM to take over and (re)build it - something anethema to Ralph after the Donahoe fiasco...
