  1. Slightly OT but interesting in the article

Police are calling it a larceny — here was no visible sign of forced entry — and while Whitner isn't commenting much, it's possible someone that he allowed into his home before the game developed sticky fingers as good as Whitner's were on the field.

    then later

"I have family that wants to come up each week. Picture seven or eight people you let come to your house before each game and they get on your nerves asking all kinds of questions

Seems likely he was ripped of by a relative or "friend"

  2. That 5+ minute work of art in NE doesn't count as a game winning drive? He supposed to stop kickoff fumbles now?

Wow - think this is the first craynz post related to Edwards in over a year I've seen that didn't include the words "gloves" and "Mary". Could it be he is even becoming a Trent convert? <_<

  3. Just finished watching the game on the NFL replay thing (which I love)...

I am also loving it - re-watching the game now - hoping to watch the Pats* loss tonight

I'm becoming surprisingly comfortable with Freddy back there. I'm not in favor of demoting Marshawn, but I am definitely in favor of them splitting time more equally. I don't think I ever realized how good Freddy's vision was. That's one question mark for Marshawn, though I suspect if Marshawn would learn to be just a bit more patient his vision would be more of an asset to him. But Freddy is the real deal...I'm thrilled we signed him to an extension.

Jackson has been amazingly impressive. I think he is fitting right into what the Bills want to do on offense with more quick hitting plays and pulls/sweeps/screens utiling mobile linemen.

The best part of Fred's playing in my mind is that it should be lighting a fire under Lynch to be working hard during the suspension and come back prepared - Freddie's reallly pushing him

Kudos to the Oline....it's really nice seeing Trent have a pocket to utilize.

It's nice to see an agressive OL w/ some attitude

    We can do better

That is also key to me. Watching this team now you just get the feeling they will only get better as the season goes on - so many aspects you can already see the improvement and potential to get even better

  4. Oh please. My neighbor had their house toilet papered last week as a joke, and aimed at their high school kids on the football team. Their trees and house were a mess. It was also drizzling all night and then the sun came out the next day and baked it on there. Tough to clean all of that up. It made them mad as hell, but they also laughed at how good it was. Same sort of thing happened to McKelvin, but some paint in the grass was most likely much easier to clean up.

Get over it and move on. He has. It was pretty juvenile, and it was also done by a couple of 16 year old knuckleheads. It happens to a lot of people, in a lot of different ways, and in all walks of life. McKelvin even laughed.

The story is over. People caught. And the majority of people could really care less now that everyone knows it was a couple of immature kids.

This entire post sums up my feelings exactly. And when I was 16, lawn jobs usually involved a car and actually did damage to a lawn. The kids who did it then (and throughout time) aren't all pathetic felonious lowlifes - just mostly immature/dumb kids doing a stupid thing.

  5. Holy Crap - what is going on around here? I'm more concerned about how Leodis is going to make things right to the fans by his play on the field

*Edit* - OK guess my sarcasm detector isn't fully functional this AM. Funny how this really could have been a real post given all the other on the subject. Next I'm waiting for someone to start a petition to put him on the Wall of Fame because we all feel so sorry for him...

  6. You don't actually win first prize at the spelling bee. Sorry.

    Take your pick: http://www.morewords.com/contains/gar/

    So it could have been

    1) Steve the Pirate - "GAR!"

    2) A self-censoring vandal - "McKelvin is a vulgGARity!"

    3) A vandal having second thoughts - "DisreGARd this vandalism!"

    4) An educated vandal - "McKelvin is loGARithmically stupid!"

    5) A dairy-loving vandal - "McKelvin eats marGARine not butter!"

    6) A knowledgable fan - "McKelvin, even a kinderGARtener knows to protect the football in that situation!"

  7. Said in another thread w/ 5 mins left I had to leave the room to watch it by myself b/c I just had that feeling they were going to blow it. that terrible Bills fan feeling - even when up w/ less than a quarter left ust calculating all the potential ways we could possibly still lose...

  8. I had to do my customary 'leaving the family room towards the end of a close Bills game on TV to watch it by myself in my bedroom so when the Bills inevitably blow it I am not yelling and cursing in front of my kids'

    *sigh*

    PS - oh - and I do blame McKelvin - F U K C ER - I hate him
