  1. Holy crap. Hope that was called "Niners Special" in their playbook 😛
  2. Without that stupid bomb that should have been easily intercepted Mahomes would have 16 passing yds
  3. OMG they actually got a grounding call right that didn't go past LOS
  4. But instead he is "fiery" and "competitive"
  5. Ha the next words I actually typed but erased were ease up on the roids
  6. Niners have to be ready KC going to try to turn on the Patrick and Travis show now
  7. Wow stupid Gronk Fanduel got me at the end with the tribute - RIP
  8. Maybe Arnold has it copyrighted and wouldn't let them use it 😛
  9. Fumble couldn't happen to a better more annoying player IMO
  10. jfc - I was just typing the best thing about this SB so far was lack of Mahomes fellation
  11. Walken best so far - Devito saved the Ahnold one at the end
  12. First we have to wait for the rendering
  13. Which makes his X post seem a little misleading tbh - comes off as "they got rid of me and I'm a great DB coach" when in reality it more likely is "I didn't get DC and I'm a great DB coach"
  14. Went to Atlanta for SB 28 - didnt have tickets initially and stayed with a friend who lived there. Went to the stadium well before game and couldn't find any tickets- and my friend got screwed by a "broker" and never got his tickets. Before kickoff we went to a big Bills bar in the area and they were filled you couldn't get in - so all the overflow went to this townie bar next door who from the looks of it wasn't even aware the SB was going on. Will never forget the optimism at halftime - and then the sickening feeling when Thurman fumbled. I remember, a few beers in, staring at the pitcher on our table and all the SB disappointments welling up and fighting the overwhelming urge to throw it against the wall. Still amazed I didn't chuck that damn pitcher.
  15. Also - McD seemed to have the support of the players who rallied behind him - don't think the same can be said of the Jets players w/ Saleh
  16. They get a cut of the concessions and parking from all the visting team fans going to Charger games at Sofi
  17. One thing Wilson did do was run for his life behind that line - I don't think anyone should assume Rodger would have been able to sustain any kind of elite play behind that line and with clown Hackett as his co-coordinator. Even if the Jets plug in a Olineman or two I don't see Rodgers return next year resulting in all sunshine and rainbows. Too bad Jets won't be on Hard Knocks next year - best would be in-season while everything is crashing after optimistic TC and Rodgers carving up the scout team 😛
  18. Subscription only (and not written by Tyler Dunne 😛) https://theathletic.com/5238599/2024/01/31/jets-aaron-rodgers-robert-saleh-season-collapse/ No surprise Hackett confirmed to be a clown show Saleh doesn't come off great either Interesting too they confirm the story that Wilson did in fact say he didn't want to play again Also they mention while things started with Rodgers taking Wilson under his wing and being "the big brother he never had" - by the end "Wilson’s feelings about his idol soured over the season." It ends with Jets players being optimistic because Rodgers was "picking apart" the scout team when he came back.
  19. This is a side discussion but one of my pet peeves. I think there are things teams should do to minimize even further the role of ST coverage. Kick kickoffs out the EZ, and punt directionally towards the sideline to minimize returns. Even a punt OOB that goes a few yards shorter is worth it to not give up a return. Lower the dependence on keeping scrubs who are 'ST demons' and give more focus on not kicking returnable balls.
  20. Really wish there was some kind of next gen stat for ints that factored in context. Remove hail mary's, balls that aren't the QBs fault (bounce off chest/hands of receiver etc) - and this wouldn't even count more subjective like the receiver ran wrong route etc. I would bet Josh's 'adjusted' int total would further debunk the 'turnover machine' narrative.
