  1. Herm will be the first coach fired in the offseason, and rightly so. No NFL coach has accomplished less with more. And I'd still rather have him than Dick. Good work, Ralph.
  2. The only thing that Wilson can change that would affect this team is his status as owner.
  3. Since he gave an awful coach three more years, the answer is "no". Besides, he was still the owner, so that pretty much answers itself.
  4. It's the truth. While the team is in Buffalo and owned by Wilson, there is no hope. The Raiders and the Bills are two teams waiting for new owners and nothing else.
  5. What's the salary cap? What's the Bills' current cap #?
  6. Absolutely right. This team has no prayer until (a) Wilson is gone and (b) the team likely moves to Toronto. .500 is likely as good as it's going to get in the meantime. Ralph Wilson is a slightly quieter Al Davis.
  7. Yes and yes. Either demote him to third string or cut him, but there's no real reason to keep running him out there for any reason. Maybe he'll become a backup somewhere else, but it's never ever happening in Buffalo. Just get it over with.
  8. How many teams win games when their QB can't manage 100 yards in the air?
  9. Teams with QBs that can't throw for 200 yards do not win games. Even the coaching staff knows that Losman isn't the guy--there's a reason why he got so few attempts, and it's because he's not an NFL-caliber QB. This season's over, so you might as well run him out there for the rest of the year, but getting a FA or a high-round QB is a big priority in the off-season.
  10. If RW really wants to help this team, he'll sell it to someone who doesn't think WWII's still going on.
  11. If it weren't for the Raiders they might be.
  12. It's official now that results *truly* don't matter with this team, because the W-L portion is over. It's now time to see who's going to get cut, who's going to stay around, who's going to get drafted, and who in the front office will be officially confirmed to have a pulse.
  13. Now that he has retired, my Flutie jersey can finally come out of the closet. After all, rules are rules. Once he's retired, it's officially a throwback.
  14. "The experts don't know anything." But the only place people are saying that is here, so I don't know whether it counts or not.
  15. Yeah, why believe ESPN? They've always had it out for Buffalo. Instead of believing the guys who do draft stuff 24/7/365, you should believe a bunch of message-board homers. Suuuuuuuure.
  16. Yeah, I won't believe any of the people who do nothing but the draft all year, and instead I'll listen to a failure of a head coach and a couple of senile old men. The apologists' attempts to defend the indefensible is embarassing. I'm embarassed for them.
  17. The Bills select John McCargo. Absolute, utter lunacy. You have spent three picks on a second-rounder and a third-rounder (maybe). Ladies and gentlemen, the Bills have used their first-round pick and have selected NO ONE.
  18. It's not 1983 any more, Sparky. Join the real world.
