  1. Per PM, the Texans select Prince Amukamara, CB. Nice steal right there. If you guys see you are on the clock, you are free to make your pick early!
  2. In some parts, posting the same repetitive drivel repeatedly ad naseum, to the point of rooting for yourself to be right over the success of the team you supposedly follow, would constitute a crusade. In some parts.
  3. Tennessee selects Nick Fairley. Per PM, Dallas selects Anthony Costanzo.
  4. Cleveland selects Von Miller. The 4-5pm slot guys, go ahead and make your picks when you are on the clock. I wont be home til late to fill in the final few results.
  5. Cincinnati selects AJ Green Per PM, Arizona selects Blaine Gabbert. Cleveland is on the clock.
  6. Buffalo selects Marcel Dareus.
  7. As was stated in the mock draft thread, if a pick is missed, i have been going off a list of rankings from CBSSports and NFLDraftScout. (Taking into account common sense with team needs ie-Green Bay won't get a QB at #32) Peterson is their #1 ranked prospect, Dareus is 3rd. I'm not attempting to draft in reagrds to what people think a team "should" do. Any further missed picks will made in this same regard.
  8. I've got a CJ Spiller white throwback that i got last year from dhgate for $40 (free shipping). Fully stitched and everything. THose jerseys are definitely the way to go instead of wasting $80 for some iron-on crap that gets mass produced by the nfl. I'll probably get a blue one when they come out with the new jerseys, but i'm not sure who yet.
  9. No biggie. Not the first time its happend, and it won't be the last
  10. Vote for the pick. At 2pm eastern, the highest vote getter will become the Bills selection at #3 overall. Picks #1 and 2 were Cam Newton to Carolina and Patrick Peterson to Denver. If someone you like isn't on the list, vote in the thread.
  11. Per rankings, Denver selects CB Patrick Peterson. Here's the official list i'll be using for missed/unowned picks. (and common sense for team needs, etc) http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings
  12. If you're trying to catch or track someone, they'll always have come into contact with some type of plant, chemical, or dirt/rock that is only found in 1 location in your search area.
  13. Pick selection times for rounds 1 and 2 are posted in their appropriate threads. When its your turn, post your pick. Or PM me a list of picks in case you will be gone from the computer.
  14. We finally agree on one thing in this dispute. The judge needs to lay the old parental law with "figure it out yourselves, because neither side is going to like it if i have to step in."
  15. Easy there spaz. Go ahead and keep on ignoring whats right in front of your eyes.

  17. So comparing 2 similar collegiate career paths (# of starts, production, positions) is bogus, but saying one player is like a different player at a different position because they have similar weights is legit?

  19. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6304671 Seems like the players want a more binding mediation in front of a court that would have some power. Currently, they are engaged in a non-binding mediation. Seems like the owners win this round.
  20. Glad you've finally come around.
  21. Maybin was a 1 year wonder who racked up stats against weaker teams. Quinn was a 1 year wonder who racked up stats against weaker teams. Both played DE and are/would be expected to stand up as an OLB for a 3-4 NFL team (the Bills). Therefore, both players would need to change positions as a pro. Thats quite simply what the numbers say. But please, feel free to refute this statement or tell me why drawing that conclusion isn't valid.
  22. No, and that was my point. The players want binding mediation (which is what papazoid is arguing against), the owners don't. I've not seen anywhere that this is binding mediation, so this round goes to the owners. I dont have a link for the players requests, because it was said on total access on NFLN.
  23. Every media outlet has been reporting that the players want to negotiate in a courtroom setting where any agreement could/would be binding. The owners want a mediator that is non-binding. I'm not sure why you keep refuting this.
  24. Maybin was a 1 year wonder who racked up stats against weaker teams. Quinn was a 1 year wonder who racked up stats against weaker teams. Thats quite simply what the numbers say. But please, feel free to refute this statement or tell me why drawing that conclusion isn't valid. Dank, thats completely disingenius. Miller has showed production since then. So when evaluating someone, you go on their entire body of work. I have no idea how Quinn would have performed last season. No one does. Thats why his limited playing time is such a red flag. So the only thing you can do is compare the entire credentials of the 2 players. If you were hiring someone for your business, and 1 applicant was a recent college grad and 1 applicant had a few years of experience in the field, would ignore the extra work experience and say that you are only going to compare the 2 applicants as they were when they graduated college? No. So that argument doesn't work here as well. Miller has 4 seasons of experience, Quinn has 1. Fair or not, those are the facts. No one is going to discount miller's final 2 seasons just because Quinn didn't get to play. But its ok for you guys to ignore the similarities in the career paths of Maybin and Quinn?
  25. How about teams like the Buccs and chiefs? Both teams overahuled prior to 2009, and both teams sucked in 2009. Tampa fired everyone after going 9-7, and dropped to 3-13. Then then both showed improvement in 2010. Sometimes teams need to be torn down before the rebuilding can fully happen. Expecting a team to turn it around in one season is foolish. And don't try to pass off seattle as a team that "did it right" They were a crappy team in a horrible division. Anywhere else in the league and that team goes 5-11 at best.
