Funny, because i thought the bills brought in 3 players along the defensive front 7 already this offseason. But those move obviously dont matter, because spending a 1st round pick is the only way to improve.

When the Bills picked Whitner 2 years ago....

Got it. So you think that stroud here is going to force mccargo to the bench. Stroud will play the nose and mccargo will play the 3. Spencer Johnson will rotate in. But, if you want to get technical, stroud was brought in to replace williams, since he started at the nose last season. And for the record, no where did i ever say that letting pat williams go was a good idea. it wasnt. Anything else you care to whine about? its what you're good at. -

Completely and utterly incorrect. They spent picks on stroud because Tripplett didnt pan out, NOT McCargo. McCargo will be starting alongside Stroud this season. -

I just happen to think that i'd rather have dockery, walker and a 1st round corner that nate clements @ 80 million and a 1st round pick trying to play both LG and RT on the line. Simple economics. Better to pay a rookie CB 20 mil over 6 years and get a similar level of play than it is to pay a top FA corner 60 mil over 6 years. -

Color me extremely confused. I thought Bill was from NYC, not Amherst and Philly. -
Do some of you honestly think that the only reaosn people are high on DRC is because his last name is cromartie? Perhaps you guys are right. Look at all those QBs named brady that have been drafted since tom.

How many idiots are going to try this now.

The rest of the lakers dont get any assists because they'd actually need to have the ball to get one. Tough to get an assist when kobe scores 50 by shooting 16 of 65 every night. And for #24, i believe the number of his career assists are currently the same as his career rapes. -
I was referring to G. Host making an ass out of himself by saying something completely false and untrue, and then running away like a little girl when someone called him out on his stupidity.

Way to pull sh-- completely out of your ass. Losman beat out Holcomb and Nall 2 years ago in a competition. But keep making sh-- up if it helps you sleep at night.

ESPN radio discussed possible teams moving to LA
Ramius replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Perhaps, but theoretically, there's enough money and bigwigs in LA so that you could build and sellout a stadium composed entirely of luxury boxes. -
Wilford's rookie season @ 19-271-2. His last 3 seasons have been an average of 40-600-4. In his entire 5 year career, Bryant Johnson has averaged 40-600-2 per season. You'd like to see more TDs, but he was also 3rd on the dpeth chart most of that time. So theres good reason to suspect that either one of those guys could blossom into a 50-700-6 type of WR that the Bills are looking to fill the #2 void with. As for this ruvell martin assclown, he's buried on green bays depth chart. If he was that good, he would have moved up. Donald Driver is Favre's target because he's good. As is greg jennings. And james jones really showed something as a rookie, catching 47-650-2. Theres reason to suspect he could become a legit #2 down the road. But as for ruvell martin, at no point has he ever shown anything that could be remotely considered #2 quality. 16-250-4 is nothing to write home about, nor is it showing any flashes of potential. He had 1 good game, with his 4-57-2 performance. But how do you explain the remainder of the season where he caught 12-200-2 in 14games? Just because he's 6'4" doesnt make him good. And theres a hugh difference between being covered by a dime back and a starting CB. He's not a #2. Maybe someime down the road he might be a #2, but he's nowhere near that now. Honestly, what is it about you guys with the Ruvell Martin fetish? What part of his game makes you think that he can be a legit #2 WR? perhaps it was the playoffs, where he failed to record a reception.

Round 1 has been completed. We are scheduled to resume round 2 at 12pm eastern next monday, and follow the same time schedule that is posted. However, when its your turn, you are welcome to make your 2nd round pick before then so that we may get ahead.

Per PM, New Orleans selects Dan Connor, LB

I've never understood the asinine ruvell martin fetish. the guy caught 16 balls last year. 16! I dont know what the hell any of you fetishists see in him at all. He had 1 decent game last year where he had 4-57-2, and only caught 12 passes the rest of the year. Not exactly a "breakout." He's a 4th WR at best.

The Bills could send all 17 starters except the 4 starting DBs to the pro-bowl, and bill would still B word that drafting a 1st round DB is going to destroy the franchise.
-
I dont care. build the lines, then go after the QB. Havent the Bills taught you anything? If Ryan bombs, how do you know whether its him or its the rest of the team. It makes more sense for them to grab a dorsey or a long at #3. Even if they wait until their 2nd round pick, they'll likely still have their choice of Flacco, Henne, and possibly Brohm.
-
I'm all for competition in training camp and pre-season, because trent did little for me to instill a great confidence in him. But, whoever starts the season needs to start the entire season (barring injury). The QB cant keep looking over his shoulder during the season. However, if i was a betting man, i'd say the safe money is on another season of musical QBs. Jauron needs to win and win now to save his job, so i dont think he'll hesitate to yank them in and out of the lineup to "provide a spark."

I think everyone on the board should pitch in and pre-order you a DRC jersey.
-
i dont think the falcons shoudl take ryan at #3 either. They should do wexactly what the browns did last year. Take a lineman and then trade up or take a QB early in round 2. But i think there's enough of a danger that they can bluff baltimore into moving up.
-
The ravens better be praying that Matt Ryan doesnt go before #8. If i was the Falcons GM, i'd have Baltimore on the phone right now..."So how bad do you want matt ryan? Are you going to make it worth our while to pass on him?" Trade form 3 to 8, pick up a 2nd and a 3rd in the process. Then flip 2 of atlantas 4 second rounders for a mid to late 1st, and grab Brohm. 2 1sts, 2 seconds, 2 thirds would go a long way to helping atlanta improve in a hurry.
