  1. 16? dayum...happy belated, Selmon lol
  2. Yeah, I think Selmon is like 18 maybe? Selmon, how old are you dammit!?
  3. I think he is actually the younger sibling
  4. As someone who loves the city of Philadelphia, I can't say I'd blame him if that ends up being the case, but I have to think that sooner or later the Bills will feel one of these guys is worth a long term investment. Hopefully it's Glenn!
  5. Man, what a bummer...they were just soooo far behind that even skipping everything except the mandatory speed bump killed them. That being said, I stand by what I said earlier in the thread - I'm more proud of this team than any other team that has ever been on this race. These two are everything that is right about this country. Sounds silly to say that, but I mean every word of it. They ran a great race and I agree that it would be disappointing if some sort of gift was made for daughters medical expenses.
  6. I really enjoyed tonights episode...I've really falled off the Lisa bandwagon too...her whole drama queen act is shocking to me. I honestly had no idea she was like this lol. On top of that, it's the same issues every single time with her. Ivanka gets hotter and hotter every year. She's like the perfect woman...beautiful, funny, smart...talk about Miss Universe!!
  7. LMAO!!! This is probably the last year you'll be able to get mileage out of that one...I'm losing interest in the show really quickly. YOu'll have to stick with my love for soccer or the fact that I do women's work lol, thanks brother. I honestly feel bad bringing up Briere, cause I know it hurts my fellow TBD brothers who are Sabres fans. What a fantastic player, though...he's money in big games, and combined with the unreal amount of talent on this Flyers club, Briere is deadly. LOL, I know that's right.
  8. Definitely agree...345 is too damn big for a LT. I think you're right on the money when you say 25 lb...a 320 lb LT with a huge wingspan and strong as an ox? Hell yes! I would have preferred Kuechly in the 1st, but we didn't have much say in that. I agree with you that Gilmore doesn't fit the mold of a shut-down corner. On the flip side, he's a good egg and I'm proud to have him on the Bills, and I think he's a good addition to the defense as a whole.
  9. Thought about that...Toshizero wanted way too much for his appearance fee.
  10. The stars are aligning... Can you guys imagine what it would feel like if we finally win a SB, but the team had moved to L.A. two years prior?
  11. Or better yet, go back to the night Norwood was about to be conceived and slap his mama.
  12. I agree. I'm sick and tired of Nix always letting us down. Is it too much to ask for a GM who will follow through on everything he says? Especially with all of Bills nation under the constant threat of the team moving to L.A. at any minute, the last thing we need is some guy who is only 98.2% able to do his job. I'm writing a letter.
  13. I'd say we have a pretty good track record of taking mediocre and/or completely unknown talent and turning them into good-to-very good starters at LT. First Peters, then Bell, now Hairston....none of these guys had any sort of pedigree, although Hairston was considered good value. So now we have a monster first round talent to work with...if the Bills want this kid to play LT, I have no doubt that's where he'll end up playing.
  14. Daaaaaaaang....if you guys could be GM of the Sabres for one night, what would you give up to get Claude Giroux? I'm not enough of a hockey conoisseur to know how he would already compare to some of the greats early on in their careers, but c'mon...you gotta give it UP for this kid! I've been watching the Flyers for around 17 years, and while we've had some pretty solid teams we've never had a team this deep, and quite possibly never had one as talented. My favorite flyer has always been John LeClair, but Monsieur Giroux has my attention! DAMMMIT, these russian morons in goal.... WOOHOOO!!!! BRIERE WITH THE OT BEAUTY!!
  15. LOL... One of my favorites today was when NFL Network was listing the last ten picks by first initial and last name. There was some guy the Bengals drafted where it said "I.Pead"
  16. "...he has a muscular physique with a defined upper body, good trapezoid and pectoral development, tight waist and hips, good bubble, strong thighs, knotted calves and minimal body fat." Wonder if he likes dogs, long walks on the beach and fine dining, too?
  17. That's exactly it, brother Bill...I've been right there with you as it pertains to all these DBs we've drafted early on. And the only reason I'm not pissed about it this year is because of the D line. I believe strongly in the philosophy of building the defense from the lines backward, and DBs with a crap front 7 is a waste of a draft pick. But now that our Dline is one of the best in the NFL, I'm fine with strengthening the DBs.
  18. GAmecock1, welcome! I've been a fan of the 'cocks ever since Lou Holtz was there. I live near UGA country and I geek out to SEC ball every year, but the Gamecocks are the one team I tend to root for most. Last time I really was psyched about a USC player we drafted, KO Simpson, that didn't work out real well lol. I would have preferred Ingram, but plenty pleased with Gilmore. I would love to see us grab Alshon, and you're right on about Clowney...the kid was ALL OVER the place this past season. If he fills out a bit, holy crap...he's going to tear it up at the next level.
  19. There's no way we're going to use our rd2 pick on a QB, and I'd say it's VERY unlikely we'll do so in rd 3 either.
  20. Thanks for well wishes I hate when we play the Devils...friggin Brodeur can become a bad Mike Tyson impression at any time - "impregnable", "impenetrable" - especially in the playoffs. I don't know if they're stronger now than they were during the reg sesaon, but the Flyers CLEARLY are. We didn't even need our Ruskies most of the time against the Pengies since we were scoring touchdowns. I can't see that happening to Monsieur Brodeur, though...rooks gotta keep contributing and my boy Claude needs to keep doin' his thing.
  21. You are correct, sir. With all due respect to the latter, who also happens to be a most excellent poster, JoeSixPack is indeed the original pack of six.
  22. Russell Wilson for me, as well. I hate putting too much emphasis on only one source, but when I saw him with Gruden I was blown away. For the kid to immediately recognize formations and coverages on the video, and then be able to discuss the differences in terminology between the Wisconsin offense and the west coast terminology he was using at North Carolina...WOW. I can't even remember wtf I had for lunch yesterday. This kid has a TON going on upstairs. He's quick physically and cognitively, and he's a gamer. Gruden clearly was in awe of the kid and I feel the same way. I have a really strong feeling he's going to be a winner in the NFL regardless of where he lands. I would love to see him in B-lo tomorrow.
  23. lol, no, you're not being insensitive at all...I feel the exact same way. I can certainly understand it when they left someone who was ill, or maybe they fear an elderly family mbr may pass before they return home..stuff like that I understand. But some of these reactions are WAYYY over the top when it's just that they have been away from home for a month or two. That's partly why I find what Johnny Fairplay did when he had prearranged for "news about granny" to be brought to him from a visiting family mbr/friend was just brilliant. He knew how powerful of a card that would be if he could pull it off and play it, and boy did he ever pull that off...ranks up there as one of the best moves in Survivor history, IMO. But I think it speaks to what you just said, cause Fairplay knew exactly what you and I know...that the reactions that they have to being away from family is very powerful, and he had the foresight to take advantage of that. Brilliant!
  24. Oh MAN, I wish I could be there...I love that this is going down in Jan Brady Town baby!!
