  1. 1st against the pass, 30th against the run. I wonder what the Falcs will be doing on Sunday?
  2. 13 against Washington is saying something though. It should have been 16 which in my mind would have locked it up. But, when you have Jose Cortez kicking FG's it ain't gonna get the job done. Last week, they put up 28 against SD, next week I wouldn't be suprised to see them put up 40 against SF. I was really impressed with Parcells calling the outside runs against Washington on longer 3rd downs to beat the inside blitz that Drew is usually crushed on. He didn't get sacked at all last night, man that's impressive especially against the Wash D.
  3. Man, this thread is like a bad divorce case. It's Drew's fault! No it's the D's fault! But, we saw Drew do it before so that must automatically mean he's doing it again! You're stupid! No you are! Folks, the D lost that game. Parcells is using Drew brilliantly.
  4. the final drive of the game, he settled in and trusted his WRs. thats when he got most of his completions in the bucs game. --------------- or it could have been because the Bucs were in a soft zone allowing the underneath passes.
  5. Vick will be out there. He's going to be going against the third worst rushing D in the league and, after tonight, the best against the pass in terms of total yardage. All he'll have to do is run and occassionally toss the ball to Crumpler.
  6. Sweet!!! My daughter cheerleads for the Wayne Eagles C squad (9&10) year olds. They played an awesome tight game against the Gates Stallions this week. Tied 19-19 so now the Eagles are 1-1-1. I love watching the kids play.
  7. Well, now I know what you guys were talking about. During the first week I listened for a solid hour to him and was thinking "this guy isn't that bad, actually I kind of like him." Yesterday, I saw the light. Between him saying "fat ass lineman" 30 times, "you need to bloody TB's noses" 25 times and talking about the glory days in Buffalo at least 10 times all over a course of 20 minutes I had my share. He got so belligerant I shut it off b/c no one needs to listen to overreactive drivel. I'm starting to wonder if the guy is bipolar. Needless to say I won't bother turning him on next week. My suggestion? Broadcast another game after the Bills game. Or even have Bob Lonsberry talk about the game, at least the guy has a slight grip over his emotions.
  8. No fence sitting allowed!!! The Cleveland faithful have to be on cloud nine right now. 1. Injuns 2. Browns
  9. It could be worse. We could be the Packers or the Vikings. I do think Atlanta is going to take a hard look at the rushing B word slap that Tampa put on us today though.
  10. Man, that sweet sauce they put on there is friggin awesome! I don't care for their panned pizza, but the New Yorker is mint.
  11. Mark's Pizzeria for thick slices. I love the Big New Yorker from Pizza Hut for thin slices.
  12. That wasn't the case last Sunday. I listened with hesitation after the game while mowing the lawn. I had heard all these horrible things about what a jerk the guy was.He said it's nice to see the swagger back in the Bills, that people around Buffalo seemed to have a sense that their football team was coming back to the "glory days" of the early 90's, he's really excited about this team and how good JP looked. He was very entertaining and frank IMO, the only really negative thing he said was that Williams, Mike needed to get his crap together.
  13. Only thing with Vick is that he wouldn't fit in to that system. I think he's pretty much a lock for Canton unless he somehow melts down entirely.
  14. Take Brady out of the system and replace him with another QB who could still lead the Pats? They need to be able to lead the team, read D's like no one else and have eyes in the back of thier heads. Only a couple guys I would take and they aren't better but more or less his equal. Of recent vintage. Brett Favre Donovan McNabb and on a flyer, Peyton. But, I wonder if he'd be too head strong.
  15. did you check that through snopes?
  16. Good read. I loved that show, never knew that happened.
  17. It's your call but I'd take Wright over Pennington in this matchup. I went with Detroit's D this week. Even if that D is overrated Chicago's O is not going anywhere.
  18. Willie b/c Davis is going to get beat on again, and Pennigton. Is there anyone on waiver for QB that could be a more viable option?
  19. I picked up Detroit. My options were Jax and Minnesota. Hell no! I still think Minny's D is going to be good they got beat up b/c of Culpeppers problems last week.
  20. I second that. Although, the Phins cheerleader behind is something I could look at for hours.
  21. I've seen this Tampa D contain many a QB with more experience than Losman. The key to this game is going to be turnovers b/c both D's are stout. I tend to think Losman is going to have a tough day but in the end so will Greise. Hard fought battle but in the end. Bucs 13 Bills 9
  22. 1. Still Standing 2. Lost 3. Reno 911 4. Blue Collar Comedy Tour 5. SNL reruns
  23. Vick needs to get use to these young and new recievers. Jenkins/Dez White/Roddy White and Brian Finneran don't exactly strike fear in to anyones hearts. Atlanta's passing game is dictated by how their running game fairs. The interesting thing about the Falcons is you really can't stack eight in the box to stop the run b/c they have the ability to get outside both through Dunn and Vick. So, if the Bills can shut down the Falcons run game, which is entirely possible it's going to be a tough game for Vick seeing our secondary is just as good as the Eagles. I'd look for a ton of screen plays in this game by the Falcons. And to boot, as the Realist mentioned, they have one of the most underrated D's in the league. Everyone was overlooking that last year b/c they play in the NFC but they attack the ball.
