  1. Gates could potentially be better than Tony Gonzalez. He's not going anywhere.
  2. Here's the arguement you are going to get from Bills management. Drew has adapted to whatever system was placed in front of him. He has made a team contribution this year by getting his team in place to make the playoffs. Unfortunately at the beginning of the year MM was still tweaking the roster and looking at what would would work schematically for this team to be successful. It took place after a rough 3-6 start. And although Drew didn't have a great year statistically we still believe he has the tools and supporting cast to lead this team to the playoffs. My opinion is he's right. I'm unwilling to give up on Drew at this point simply because I haven't heard of us going out and getting a different player. JP was injured for 10 weeks so I have a hard time believing he'll be able to come in and show us he's got the skills to take us to the next level. Can he? I have no idea...but I trust that the people who know more about football than I do. And if they still think he's not ready I'll side by them.
  3. But having the changes in the coaching staff over these three years is going to give Drew a flier ESPECIALLY considering we had a winning record this year. He's going to be back.
  4. Can the Bills win the SB with Drew Bledsoe???? Hmmmm...I would say give him another year and if he get us to the playoffs then let him go. I know this is contrary to popular opinion here on the board but I give the guy some slack considering he didn't have much of an OC in Kevin Gilbride and he has a new OC this year. Plus last year Moulds was hurt for the second half and this year Lee came in to his own. I don't really see the point in throwing JP in there now simply because JP isn't ready. The kid needs some more tutilage under our coaching staff before throwing him in. I just don't want to see the kid end up being a bust and us wondering if we threw him in there too soon. And from the management perspective. The Bills haven't made the playoffs in the 00's yet anyways but are still selling out the Ralph. I think this will continue for next year simply because of the great finish this year. And let's face it folks as much as we love this sport the best thing to do for ownership is fill up those seats. Of course a home playoff game would be one heck of a bonus.
  5. I had that almost every night when I was in college. Now it just sounds bland. We are having pork chops.....and applesaaaauce.
  6. I filled up last night in Rachacha...it was 1.99/gal.
  7. Unfortunately, I don't have the game on PC so I'd just be wasting your time.
  8. I've got skills brother!!!!
  9. aw damn too bad it's on PC.
  10. I likey the Bates idea. The guy is a gamer. I watch him coach and his personality reminds me of Marv Levy. He's tight with his players and knows his stuff. Phins were 3-4 under him. Not bad considering they were 1-8 when he took over.
  11. Yeah, well after being married so long I take whatever I can get.
  12. Agreed. Ever see the halftime show between Marshall and Grambling where they do the competitions between the bands. It's so sweet, your nipples get hard watching it. That's talent and dedication.
  13. Nah, just lurk. You don't have to post. There will be some good things to discuss at some point besides PJ Haircut and the old man. Where did that jerky thread go.......
  14. My father in law makes the best Venison Jerky ever. He brings that stuff over and I swear to god it's like eating a slice of heaven.
  15. Good Afternoon! Do any of you guys (or gals) have the Time Warner All-in-One package. The one with Cable, Roadrunner and & digital phone. I'm curious how much it is after service fees. They are selling it at $129 per month...but how much does it end up being with add ons? They couldn't give me a straight answer so I'm debating whether to do it or not. Any help is greatly appricated.
  16. yeah I heard it at home.
  17. never seen those up close...buttttt, I'll take your word on it.
  18. Or Stojan getting his stuff back. Pittsburgh was in Miami right around the time that happened, no?
  19. Hey just think BF, it could be worse. You could have locked Eckstein up for a few years. BTW, I'm JUST KIDDING!!! I know you are very sensitive today.
  20. Yeah, but what is he suppose to say? If it was me and I knew I was going to have to fight for my job I'd be saying the same.
  21. Some would say that's the price of never winning the big one. Look at Cleveland.
  22. You've got a point there. Although I did listen to the Bills comeback vs. the Oilers in the car on the way back from Florida. In that case I was enjoying the ride.
  23. The world is a lot closer than it has ever been before. Think about it. 5 years ago it was difficult to pick up aftermarket seats unless you "knew" somebody. If a concert was sold out you were going to have to wait outside for someone to scalp them. And if you live a long ways away there was no way you were going to take the chance. Now, you can go on one of 5000 websites and find tickets to a Bills game even when it's sold out. The world is at our fingertips. As far as the stadium being filled by opposing team fans? This is the first time I've ever witnessed another team even making a peep at the Ralph. But the Steelers have a large backing and they aren't that far away.
  24. Amazing how quick you guys could turn on him considering he was on the top of the TBD.com page for nearly a year.
