  1. well said. It's not about the destination, it's about the ride.
  2. You are telling me that 25K tickets were aftermarket sales??? To Steelers fans??? Get a grip, jerkoff.
  3. I could give two craps how long you've been here. And as far as people buying and selling for extra profit? Seriously, if it's that big of a deal I'm sure someone in upper management would have done something about it.
  4. Then stop rooting for them. What's is the point in this? Seriously, if you think the franchise sucks then go out and stand by the road with a sign attempting to get people to sign up for season tickets. Don't come on to a message board where everyone supports the team and B word about team support. You are preaching to the choir.
  5. oh good god. Not this garbage again.
  6. This was Greggo's team prior to 2004. It took MM approximately 5 games to get things on the right track. BUT, it's still going to take some more time to get the final tweaks worked out. I like what I see. Willis, Lee, Moulds, Aiken, McGee, Williams (Pat & Mike),Schobel etc. And how about the contributions of Freddie Smith, Trafford, Jason Peters, Mario Haggan just to name a few. The dead weight was dumped right after that Pats loss (Bobby Shaw) and I'm sure more will be dumped in the upcoming offseason. Lindell. MM deserves praise. He's earned the respect of his players and his coaches. And most importantly in our minds, the fans. As much as you guys want to B word, you haven't had a team go better than 8-8 since 1999. It's now 2005 folks and that's the first year under the leadership of MM.
  7. she is HOT!!! But, she'd be hotter if she had brown eyes....
  8. Indy 28 Atlanta 31
  9. But, Marv didn't by not starting Thurman. Edgerrin very well could have won the rushing title as well yesterday.
  10. Just like when Shaun get the job done against the Jets when he tried to pound it in 3 times? Yeah cute, the Hawks are going to the playoffs and if they didn't win this game they'd be on a flight to St. Louis.
  11. I don't feel bad for the Brewers considering the owner is the Commish of baseball. If good old Bud Selig wants to make some money for his team perhaps he should have fielded a competitive team prior to building that new stadium. And the Drays have a great young ball club. If you don't like the Yanks it's fine, many folks don't. But, attendance across the board for MLB has been increasing by an average of 13-15% per year since the strike of 1994. And it will continue this trend this year. It may not be run as well as football in some ways, but it's being run a heck of a lot better than hockey.
  12. He can blame himself for fumbling against the Jets earlier in the year on the goal line. There is his one yard. And it basically cost his team the game. And he's not going to get any less of a contract next year for being one yard short of the title. Plus, if he had incentives I'd love to see them! I'm not questioning you, just want to see the pudding.
  13. Interesting that Thurman lost the rushing title to Barry by seven yards in 1990.
  14. Here's the link. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/text/2002102665_hawk28.html
  15. yeah, because that was a momentum killer when we were up 17-16 late in the 3rd quarter.
  16. You are sure? Well show me the link to his contract then. I'm sure you can't find one.
  17. The guy has the "10 richest people in the World" taped to the inside of his locker.
  18. Because the New York Jets had lost before the Bills played, the Bills could have earned their first playoff berth since 1999. But a squad of mostly backup players led the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 29-24 victory ----------------- this is from that paper above. Way to be accurate.
  19. And the media believes he was robbed too. Holmgren deserves better than this. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/seah...8637_les03.html
  20. The game between the Jets and the Rams was still going on when the Hawks/Falcons game started. I hardly believe that Holmgren went in at half to see what Alexander needed for his rushing yards when the Hawks needed to win to play at home.
  21. He'd be a perfect fit in Oakland.
  22. He's a nut job. He was this way last year too. The guy is all business and he probably is more concerned about the cash than the rings.
  23. give the link. I'm not searching for a thread which you were quoting from.
  24. Apology for what? Pointing out you were stating the obvious?
  25. You are correct. But, the value of Peyton Manning has yet to be determined considering his career is potentially not even half over. He could end up winning 5 rings.
