I finally sat down and watched Elf last night. It was a lot better than I expect. It was funny but family friendly. I'll check out Anchorman. I enjoy Will Ferrell so why not?

I'm not worried about Saban just because Belecheck thinks he's good. Screw Belecheck, and screw Saban. --------- While I respect BB I have no respect for Saban. The guy is acting like he's doing Miami a favor by coming in to that franchise. He's taking both positions to rebuild like he's the second coming of Don Shula. Give me a break Saban. You haven't done crap in the NFL and if you think you are going to waltz in to the best division in the NFL and just dominate b/c you are Nick Saban you got another thing coming. Miami should have kept Bates. They are 3-3 under him and playing like they have a pair. If I was a Phins fan I would have preferred Bates over Saban.

Yeah, but that was a revenge game. The Bills were done and Belichick's ego was still smarting from the 31-0 shellacking that he got from Drew & Co. in week 1. He had to be licking his chops on that one. Belichick can say what he wants, but he clearly wanted to take it to them for showing him up on opening day. I mean, really....28-0 halfway through the 4th and they give up on a 3rd down play just to kick a FG and make it 31-0. Then putting his starters back in to stop the Bills from scoring from the 1-yard line? If that wasn't showing someone up, I don't know what is. ------------------------- Momentum baby....that's what my entire post was about. It was a chance, an opportunity to kick it up a notch.

First off, if you for some reason think that Bills Nation is not going to be in the house for the most important game at the Ralph in years I'd say you were off your rocker. Second, How can we propose anything seeing we don't know who is going to play. I would assume that Mularkey/Clements/Gray are going to draw up their game plans assuming the starters are playing. Lastly, if you have read most of the posts you'd see that most folks are being cautiously optimistic about this game.

Don't discredit the guy. He was without Burress for an extended period of time.

I'm not the OC otherwise I would be. And preparation hasn't been an issue for this team for a long time.

I will feel the same because it's a January game and I'm getting meaningful football. It's been a long time since I've been able to say that. Plus, we've got hope for 2005. Go Bills!

The bye is huge. There is no doubt about that. In the Bills case all they can do is worry about this game. If they lose and Denver and the Jets lose the Bills are going to be thinking about could have been for many months. Go Bills. Clang, clang, clang, clang....

I don't know the Eagles are going to turn it back on either. The barely won against Dallas two weeks ago. McNabb and Co. are going to be off basically for a month between games. Let the starters play. I remember a game 12 months ago that was 31-0 and the starters played basically right up until the end of the game. Then went on to win a SB.

Agreed, wholeheartedly. I don't know anyone who does this but I'm sure they are out there. I met a lady through my job who lost her job and was on welfare for four years. She ended up getting divorced b/c her husband was a heavy drinker. She had absolutely nothing. The state was offering a free ride to go to college for four years and she did it. She didn't have a pot to piss in during those four years but she came out and got a great job. This happened to her during the mid 80's, she now works for the state and says they can't offer the help like they use to be able to because there are just too many people on public assitance. It's really a shame. We are the wealthiest country in the world yet so many people are still struggling to get by.

I also gave up after the Sunday night debacle. here's what I heard on the radio the morning after that game ------------------------------- He was on Wease, local Rochester radio, this AM. The only caller they let through asked him, straight faced none-the-less, if Drew had a hard time picking up the recievers b/c the jerseys were close to the same color. Drew just said. "No" and let it die at that. I damn near fell out of bed laughing. No one cares anymore. It's becoming nothing more than accepting we suck and we are probably going to suck for years to come. ----------- that's from November 15th....and that's when I offically gave up.

I attended the Vikings/Bills game. Must have been close to the last game of the '94 season ( just found it, December 11th, 1994). My buddy was a big Vikings fan. We had front row seats and it was so freaking cold my shoes froze. I had to take my shoes off and rub my feet to keep them from falling off. Insane.

It comes down to whether or not you feel a loyalty to your company and you want to see it succeed. I would be loyal to my company. But, if I was an hourly employee, say a teller, I more that likely wouldn't feel that same loyalty.

I was working two jobs while going to college and had my kids on Child Health Plus (state medical care) because I couldn't afford to pay out $400.00 a month with all the other bills we all have. My point is that if the government put these programs out there to help people you might as well use them.

Roth deserves it. Lee had a great half year. He should be recognized but shouldn't win. Acutally that Clayton kid in TB has better numbers than he does.

I'm sure you aren't an hourly employee and I'm sure you make a hell of a lot more than hourly employees make. Let's see...I'm going to give up my free time, potentially have to get a babysitter for my kids and do this all for a company that darn near ended up screwing me over because their business model sucks once?

No one here questions how good the Steelers are. No one. To start your starters has it's benefits and it's potential drawbacks. I hope Cowher makes the right decision. Good luck.

Bills win! But, so do the Jets and the Broncos....why? Because if it ended up any other way we wouldn't be the infamous Buffalo Bills. Wide right, 4 SB's, Music City Miracle, now we would win 7 in a row...have our best season in years...and not even make the playoffs.
