  1. I'd love to see Teixeira in a Braves uni. Switch hitter who can straight rake the ball. We are probably going to end up losing Furcal after this season anyways considering he's looking for around 8-10 mill per year. If Texas moves Soriano in a trade, moves Young back to second and Furcal to SS they'll have one hell of a middle IF too. Look at these numbers, and he's due to make 3 mill in 2005. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=6788
  2. Raul Mondesi!!! Watch out now! It's a mix of Gary Sheffield when he came to Atlanta (attitude problems) and JD Drew (injury problems). JS loves those tough guys to understand, I guess. Also, there has been a lot of trade rumors between Texas and Atlanta. Possibly Teixeira for Furcal/Thomson. Lineup could end up being Giles Estrada Chipper Teixeira A. Jones Mondesi LaRoche Betemit http://atlanta.braves.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/a...s_atl&fext=.jsp
  3. I got an emailed phone message from Mr. Harry Lyon. So, I called the number back and the person on the receptionist picked up at the business. "Hello, Seneca Park Zoo, how can I help you."
  4. Kinda like Deion Sanders!!!!
  5. Up the freaking wall!!! But, I could deal with it considering Criqui & Tasker are basically a joke as a broadcast team.
  6. AVP was fantastic. Honestly, he's too bright about schemes to be sitting behind the mic. He should be coaching. Midseason I started listening to the broadcast while watching the games.
  7. Here in Rachacha they discuss everything that the national reports cover. Actually I prefer to listen Brad Davies (local broadcaster) over Jim Rome. Rome is annoying.
  8. watch Braves games (TBS) even when it's a tight score. They talk about the weirdest crap. I swear to god if you were blind you would think you are watching a show about two old guys just sitting around shooting the breeze.
  9. Falcons in the NFC. Indy in the AFC.
  10. I enjoy Sunday Night Football. I think Theismann can be annoying, very annoying, but as a team they are very entertaining. Better than Michaels & Madden. I can't stand Chris Collinsworth and no matter how good Buck and Aikman are this guy is just a straight up ass that ruins the telecast. Lastly, as an aside, I want to discuss Mark Schlereth(sp?). Where in the hell did this guy come from? He's a Steven A. Smith (know what the A is for?) for football. This guy is considered an analyst? Nothing that he spews from his mouth has any inidcation of analysis, it's strictly loud opinion. And how many times do we need to be reminded that HE won three SB rings. Give the reins to Ron Jaworski or Chris Mortensen and let the guy run with it. They actually bring something to the table unlike crack head Irvin or SB ring Schlereth.
  11. I think your design is great. But, I wish we would change our colors to Blue, Red and Gray.
  12. Hey guys I'm going to a seminar in Delray Beach next month. Any suggestions on which airport to fly in to? Thanks.
  13. i defend my position to read between these lines. It'll be interesting to see what is said after the playoffs if the Jets lose. -------------------- I agree that it will be interesting to see what Herm says. I still have a difficult time believing that the media isn't overhyping this. To me if the guy isn't playing it's not ONLY about his contract and Herm seems to be buying in to this right now as well. But, I don't know if Herm will come out and call out one of his players in public next week after the issue with Bishop last week.
  14. no, but it says that in my post. Oh, wait, you decided to leave that part out. If you are attempting to say I'm contradicting myself you are incorrect. I asked for links showing me that Abe is sitting out merely because of his contract. In the mean time "everything I've read" has indicated he is not at playing condition.
  15. Yes, but since he's left things have continually gotten worse overall. Individual players have had wonderful seasons but as a team it seems as though we were on a constant downward spiral.
  16. Excellent post. I wish I had something to add.
  17. I've seen Mr. Vandy miss clutch kicks (week 1) as well as Rian. He kicks in a fair weather enviroment. Lindell kicked at Husky Stadium for the first part of his career and in Buffalo for the second part. Mid 70's for a percentage is darn good. In comparison... Steve Christie while with Buffalo 78.2% Scott Norwood while with Buffalo 72.2% Rian Lindell is 78.8% That tells you (like we need to be told) how good Viniteri is.
  18. I'll end this conversation by saying we agree to disagree. It's not going anywhere. I believe the guy is doing the right thing, you believe he's not.
  19. And what have we done since he's been gone. Meanwhile look at Indy. We miss you Bill.
  20. definately defines "White Trash"
  21. Yeah, but it's rare. I can't think of anyone who does it. Wasn't there one guy from Minnesota. Mitch Berger, maybe.
  22. Not true, when he was cleared by the doctors to play he was still not even 75% by his own statments. Show me the link saying it was everything because everything I've read and even what Bonnie B said was that it had something to do with it but it was not everything simply because he was not ready to go.
  23. It's a different leg angle kicking it off the ground.
  24. Don't get what? If the guy isn't ready to go he isn't ready to go. I'm assuming the contract has something to do with it, but I don't know how he's feeling. There has been multiple articles saying that he's still not even 80%. Interesting Herm Edwards nor anyone on the Jets has said one thing about his "heart" but you guys who only read articles on the guy call him out.
