  1. Isn't that the truth. I don't think you are going to see the Pats make the mistakes they did last time. I'm rooting for the Steelers, but I don't like the Steelers odds.
  2. The 1979 Chevy Monte Carlo from Training Day. Edit: oh, wait that wasn't a classic TV show....oh well.
  3. Yes, he is.
  4. Didn't get to the movies but did rent "The Terminal" over the weekend. Fantastic story, good humor, good acting. If you like corny drama's and something to watch with your wife that isn't "Under the Tuscany Sun" this is a good movie.
  5. He's plays in the division that has sent the last two SB teams from the NFC. And the defense of the TB Bucs and Carolina Panthers are both very good. TB has shut him down in their meetings. The number one reason? Derrick Brooks. While Bruschi and Vrabel are good...they are no Derrick Brooks. If the Pats play the Falcons I'd play 2 LB's, 4 lineman, 5 DB's almost every set. Spy Harrison on Vick. I love the arguement about Vick's accuracy after watching him time and time again thread the needle to Crumpler. Too bad Price/White/Jenkins aren't better recievers.
  6. My point was and remains that if Bledsoe is coming back. And looking at how Drew succeeded. If they are planning on giving him another year why not follow a plan that has worked for Drew in the past???
  7. I don't like Feely b/c he's been playing in the dome for most of his career. I can't even say I'd feel comfortable with him over Lindell.
  8. We called it "cream the carrier" but lord it was violent. I was around 10 the first time I played and some high school guy nailed me in the back and I landed face first on the ground. My collarbone hit a metal pole that had been nailed in to the ground and was stick out about an inch. Oh lord did that hurt, that bone still gives me aches.... But, Vick has to get past the LB core of Philly first. That game two years ago was dictated by the defense of Philly. Vick couldn't get anything going and the CB's and LB's of Philly are a heck of a lot better than the Rams.
  9. And he's only 27. I don't think Herm uses him enough but in the games I've seen he seems to have pretty good hands.
  10. Yeah, but that was last year and everyone thought Lindell was going to be a stud this year.
  11. Are you sure he's a FA?
  12. He was instrumental in the battle and this was the jersey worn when he caught 1 pass for 6 yards. -------------------- Made me laugh out loud....
  13. If Bills management is planning on keeping Drew we need a stud TE. Not maybe, but definately. If you looking at Drew's numbers in his playoff years with NE, those being 96-98 Ben Coates was the man for Drew. Big Ben caught 62, 66 and 67 balls in the playoff season, respectively. Even in Drew's first years while the Pats weren't playoff bound Ben caught 96 in 1994, 84 in 1995. He established that short passing game along with Curtis Martin, which gave Drew the short option. I think the addition of Willis McGahee to our RB core this year helped Drew out with both the long and short passing game. But, Campbell isn't going to get the kind of attention that a Freddie Jones or EVEN an Anthony Becht would get. FA in 2005. How about a package deal to Miami Henry/Campbell for Randy McMichael?(Drool) Or Henry to Arizona for F. Jones/3rd-5th round draft pick. If management is serious about keeping Drew in Buffalo, they need to shore up the TE situation.
  14. It's gonna be the Eagles and the Pats anyways b/c I'm rooting for the Falcs and the Steelers.
  15. The Eagles and the Falcons are both really good. I wouldn't discount them against the Pats or the Steelers.
  16. Lol, but once again this wasn't Peyton's loss. It was on the Indy D.
  17. When did it become OK to humiliate people on national TV???? I think it's totally classless but then again we are talking about Shannon Sharpe and Boomer Esiason.
  18. Hey at least the Celtics aren't going to win.
  19. If the chain rule worked in football.... The Pats crushed the Jets 27-0 a few weeks ago....so the should beat the Steelers by at least 27.
  20. I hope so, but if I'm a Pittsburgh fan I'm crapping my pants right now.
  21. Yeah, I agree. Sorgi? Why not just use Travis Brown? He's got the skills on the team. Also, get rid of Harrison b/c the guy isn't worth the money either.
  22. Yep, why in gods name couldn't we of finished the season against the Browns. But seeing I'm still angry with the Steelers I could care less who gets in....but then again, I hate the Pats more. Go Steelers...I guess
  23. Wait a sec, I thought a salary cap in football would eliminate dynasties and teams getting in to the final divisional game four years in a row????
  24. Lol, hey there is hope!!!!!
  25. It's not even going to be close...
