luck. As much as people think fantasy games are about knowledge they aren't. Once you know the stats you just have to be lucky.

FantasyFootball.com Rates The Sites
gantrules replied to R. Rich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly Ramius. Exactly. I'm not five years old and don't need huge pictures on everyone's posts to draw me in to a message board. It's all about the content and if he took the time to look at what makes football games successful, THE PEOPLE, he'd see we have one of the greatest internet communities going. For stats, I go elsewhere. I never once expected it from TBD especially when there are internet sites that specialize in that. -
Those are called homers PTR and we have quite a few of them here as well. If people fork over the money to buy season tixs they are supporting their team more than a lot of us here do. And I recall quite a few more fans here in upstate of the Billls when we were on our run.

So is Star Wars III appropriate for a 5 year old?
gantrules replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rent 'em from blockbuster, that's what I do b/c even if it is 6.99 + tax if you keep it for a couple weeks you only get charged the restocking fee at $1.30. Have fun at the movie!!! Let me know what you think. My boy loves Star Wars too, but like I said he fell asleep. It's a bit slow for the younger ones IMO. I'm going to take him to Batman on Saturday and who knows maybe he'll fall asleep during that one too. -

There were families there but most of them were between the ages of 10-15. No, it's not gruesome but it is a little much in my opinion. But to a five year old watching someone get mutilated and then charred is extreme. Other than the one scene at the end I thought it was fine. It really depends on how comfortable you feel with your kid watching it. At that moment in the movie I looked over and hoped he had his eyes shut. -

I took my five year old and was glad he was asleep at the end because it was a tad bit much. -
Zombie movies rock!!! I thought both Dawn of the Dead and 28 Days Later(not true zombies but same idea) were great. I'll be going to the drive in to see this one.

I stated how I felt about this thread. I'm not here to tell you how you can feel. I'm sure the family of the girl would rather not have the media barking on their doorstep right now either. But, the fact is a girl died and Fox chose to cover it. I couldn't imagine the families grief. My heart goes out to them as well as anyone who loses a child. The bottom line, it happens in the inner city all the time. This doesn't happen all the time. Why do plane crashes get covered so much but car crashes don't? Geez monkey, use your coconut.

Crap, guess I'm not going to the Atlanta game then....

Good article in this biweekly edition of ESPN the Mag about Tebucky Jones. He thought his kids were becoming to soft so he dropped them off in the ghetto for a few hours every week (boys & girls club) to toughen them up.

Dude that sucks. The only advice I can give is to get back out there ASAP. Don't linger. Oh yeah and watch Swingers.

The lack of empathy in this thread for the victim is disturbing.

The next best sport to watch after football

Piazza, Sexson, Dimitri Young, Mike Cameron, ALBERT PUJOLS all K'd against her. Here's a quote from the article------ In all, about 30 big-leaguers have stepped into the batter's box against three-time All-American/gold medal-winning Olympian/National Pro Fastpitch star Jennie Finch, and only two players -- Sean Casey and Scott Spiezio -- even made contact.

I moved in with my wife when she was 17 I was 18. Now I'm 28 she's 27. Just remember it's her way or it's her way. Don't bother trying to get your way because women ALWAYS get you back. And in a few months when she's making little suggestions about things and you run off and do them realize then that your life is over and you are now a slave to the cooch. Congrats! -
I saw something like that too Jimbob. Marcus Giles was there and he said he couldn't even see the ball coming out of her hand.

That's what I'm mulling over Rockpile....I don't want her on the s$$tlist, I want her to enjoy it and she will not understand if she can't do it. She's really looking forward to it.

I'm going to vent a little here. My daughter is going to be a cheerleader for our school this year. So far I've done fundraising, bought the uniform, paid the registration fee, done everything that needed to be done. We had to sell a certain amount of Pizza's and Chocolate in order to not have to pay an additional $100.00 fee. I sold $76.00 worth and owed $24.00. I hadn't heard anything about this fee so just figured it was something they would hit me up for later. Keep in mind, I coach baseball three nights a week for my son, my wife is in school full time, I work full time and basically run the house including most of the chores. The last thing on my mind in the spring was this $24.00 fee. So, I recieved a letter yesterday saying that I owed the $24.00, which I was planning on paying. Plus a $50.00 LATE FEE. If this wasn't paid my daughter would be DROPPED FROM THE PROGRAM. Please keep in mind I've already paid over $200.00 for a recreation she has yet to participate in. Needless to say I was fuming. I called the cheerleading coach who said "well, you should have paid it on time and you will have to write a letter which will be presented to the board to see if the fee will be waived" and I called the president of the club who I'm still waiting to hear back from. I did a little reseach and it seems that they are violating most laws that have been passed in terms of a "reasonable" late fee. Which is to not exceed 5% of the monies owed. If I need to throw this in their face I guess I will. Bottom line, it pisses me off.

I like my job, no love my job but could get paid more. But, then again couldn't we all? I think we all get the temptation to go elsewhere from time to time, kinda like the temptations you get being a male in the summertime. Good lord, I wish the young ladies walking through the lobby would put more clothes on. /sarcasm.
