  1. It's 8 grand over 30 years at 6%. But that doesn't take in to account inflation.
  2. Quite Frankly, I think he's a bigger joke than Skip Bayless. When is Len Pasquarelli getting his own show? They should call it Not for Nothing.
  3. Right on. I think I always put our members in the best situation possible. Use your credit unions!!!!!
  4. I support ARM's in the case of folks who know they are going to be leaving their residence shortly. Even so, the average American stays in their house for 8 years. If you take a 7/1 arm then you are effectively getting a lower rate than the fixed rates and hedging your bets that you'll be a hot pocket American and be out of your house in five to seven years.
  5. Great article. The only caution I have is that he didn't take PMI in to account and the example of Ed would decrease the amount of savings he would have if he was only putting 5% down, and PMI isn't tax deductible if you pay it on a monthly basis. That brings his net "savings" down to about 113 per month. That's where the borrower would have been better putting 10% down on a 30 year term and getting single premium PMI, financing it and having the write off on both your mortgage and your PMI. Freddie will not allow you to exceed a LTV of 95% with your MI policy so therefore you have to put at least 7-10% down in order to finance your PMI That would be the most effective use of down payment money while being able to invest wisely.
  6. Check out Bledsoes. http://sports.ign.com/articles/634/634981p9.html That's pretty darn big. As big as Culpeppers and McNabbs Edit: oops you beat me to it Hollywood.
  7. I'm doing some reseach on real estate agents in upstate NY and I came across this. Gave me a few chuckles. http://www.gayrealestateagents.com/gayrealestateagents.cfm
  8. This is why the NFL sucks for players and it's basically the last resort for anybody with talent in another sport. Go play baseball young men, you don't have to destroy your body and if you are "average" you'll get paid like the superstars in football.
  9. good choice, but it's a tough tough division.
  10. he got banned? Oh, wait I knew that.
  11. You got Served Super Troopers...Sloth you are dead on, one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. White Chicks
  12. Travis got thrown in to a new system in the first four games of this season when no one was producing. We had a entirely new staff and an entirely new system. Willis thrived in it, but had the benefit of not looking bad during the learning curve, against some mediocre competition in the remainder of the season and everything started clicking. What's to say Travis couldn't have done the same?

  14. No, absolutely not. You bring up the point that I'm coming from in that I still think we should have drafted Dallas Clark over Willis McGahee in 2003. Overall it would have set the Bills up for success with Bledsoe immediately. But, what's done is done. I just think it stinks the way Travis was treated. They didn't set him up for success they set him up for failure. And I can't imagine how that felt for Travis especially after being a pro bowl back. This could very well end up being the same as Jamal Lewis and Priest Holmes in Baltimore in 2000. Did Baltimore go with the better back? Hard for me to say now. Or Deuce McCallister and Ricky Williams in New Orleans. A decision had to be made and it was made.
  15. I don't remember anyone questioning the guys pride when he ran with a broken leg for half of the season. And how do you "quit" when you aren't given the opportunity? You say he was given every opportunity. I don't think 8 carries is an opportunity. Don't get me wrong here I think Willis is one hell of a back. But, I feel the same way about Henry. I don't like how TD had this entire thing go down and honestly I don't think we are that much better with Willis than we were with Travis. You can say what you want about a sample size of four games at the beginning of the year but there were other factors along with Travis that went in to us losing those games.
  16. Henry wasn't given the opportunity to win his job back. He got seven carries in the Baltimore game and averaged more yardage per carry than Willis. After that he recieved a total of 8 carries all year. 8 carries. That's getting the opportunity to take the job back? Bottom line for me is that Henry's 2003 numbers are practically identical to Willis in 2004. Henry may not be as flashy as Willis but he's as good as Willis.
  17. He never quit on his team, his team quit on him. He was quoted in ESPN the mag as saying that the move for McGahee would give him more drive prior to the start of last season. Then he got hurt and McGahee took his job, just like Travis thought it would go down. The guy was a warrior.
  18. 14.50 Barnes & Noble. with the discount. Didn't start reading it yet. I'll get to it at some point....
  19. I hope it works out well for both parties, but all I'm saying is that we possibly could have won with Drew if we played to his strengths. No sense in beating that dead horse and now TD has to stay the course on what he's building. Is it a good move? Sure, why not. Get the "problem guy" off the team, but honestly the guy wasn't a problem until McGahee got here. Did McGahee outplay him? Absolutely, for this year, but the guy didn't get a shot to prove his worth. Now, he's expected to come back and win the job back from McGahee that was rightfully his before his injury. The fans fell in love with McGahee and Travis knew he wasn't going to be the guy anymore so I can understand his hard feelings. It's really a shame that it had to come to this. But, it did and now it's over. Like I said I hope it works out for both parties and both backs have career years.
  20. But, assuming these teams are going to take a 3rd round draft pick for these players doesn't mean anything.
  21. Let me ask, how do you know this?
