  1. Over on the Jags forum most of the posters sound worried about playing the Bills. One said "Did you see what the Bills did today?". One said "I'm scared but hoping for a W". From another.. "Buffalo looks pretty dangerous. We need to focus on better blocking and opening up the rushing attack. Watching Tennessee's defensive line man-handle our O-line and teeing off on Garrard was horrible to see. We have to win this game, we play Indy and Pittsburgh next. We could start the season 0-4 and that pretty much flushes our season down the toilet very early." We got their attention. Now it's time for us to put together a good team effort on the road!
  2. Awesome team effort today. Looking forward to next week (defense - gotta love it!) Go BILLS!!!
  3. They changed the link and got it up and running again. I've been watching for the last 5 minutes. No jittering this time either. Check out the "live Internet" thread for the new link.
  4. Yeah, man it has been a looooong time since we could say that. Looking forward to this season!
  5. perhaps their taking this "make the offense less predictable" thing a tad too far? 3rd and 1 you gotta be able to pound the rock.
  6. is it still raining? Hard to tell w the internet stream (very low res)
  7. so will theirs. Neither offense is doing well in these conditions. I say - pound the ball.
  8. Nice to see a run defense! I think we're in for some heavy dosing of Lynch here, given the elements.
  9. I'm seeing only about 1/4 of the action, the rest is spent stuttering or reaquiring connection. Same for you guys?
  10. Good one... Sadly pretty much true last year. Me thinks this year our offense is gonna be just a tad less predictable. Run, Run, Pass, (Punt) hopefully over - good riddance!
  11. They are awful. I'm just tuning in to the thread so don't know if it was already mentioned, but once they said about us: "this offense is hitting on all seven cylinders" Bet none of those guys ever opened a hood huh?
  12. Maybe it seems we get the "damn this schedule looks tough" crowd every year, but this really does look tough. I'll be surprised if it's not in the top 5 toughest (I know, I know, based on last year teams strengths). All I know is - we better beat New England at least once. If we can't do that, we're toast. Get er done!
  13. Bills fan now living in a state somewhere down south. I use Raelity on the Sabres board - a twist on Rael from Genesis Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, and like that name better. Hate to change names, here though. At the rate I post I ought to work off my rookie label in just a few more years. Promo - I too was a Rocketship 7 fan. I was only 5 or so back then. I for sure remember Dave Thomas and Promo the Robot. I vaguely recall some kind of talking hand puppet coming out of the door in the rocket. Anyone else recall that and remember a name?
  14. I guess I'm part of the 'tard train - but I'd love to have Travis back. He runs his a.. off, and seems to have gotten over his butter fingers stage. He would be an upgrade over Willis.
  15. I'm feeling better and better about our organization all the time. Seems like for YEARS all the talk on this board has been that we need to invest in the line to protect - Johnson, Bledsoe, Losman, "fill in the blank"... And finally we will get to have a young beefy talented line. This might get fun again! Thanks Marv & Co.
  16. There is another thread just started on this too. It almost seems like the leaks on his "bad habits" and being shopped for a trade are too close together to be coincidence. Are the Bills trying to induce low value trade offers, so Willis and his agent become convinced they really are best off shutting up and having Willis run his a.. off next year for the Bills, to increase his value? Or is it remotely possible that someone who wants Willis on the cheap starts up negative rumours in an attempt to lower the stakes? As said by another, this smells fishy (not trying to implicate Miami)
  17. Looks like me, Bill from NYC, and Repusif picked correctly so far. The Colts to win it all is probably pretty safe, but the Bears have potential. What a great win for Manning and Dungy!
  18. New Orleans freezes up in Chicago. Pats luck runs out at Indy. Colts over Bears in da' Bowl.
  19. I think this year the Colts and Manning finally exorcize their New England demons, and go to the Bowl. For a change they get this game at home instead of at N. England, fighting hard for the 3rd seed to insure it.
  20. I can't answer how you get there, but I am always amazed at how well the Colts O-line plays. I wish ours could be that good!
  21. All game long, he went on and on about the Chargers and how great they were. Just before the Pats got the game tying touchdown he was still talking about how the Chargers defense had been downplayed for years, only getting respect this year, then saying all you have to do is watch them now and you can see that athleticism and determination. Next play - touchdown throw for Brady. I just wish announcers could stay non-biased. After awhile I was hoping for N. England to take the lead just to get him to stop gushing about the Chargers. Jackaxe...
  22. I think the most crucial bone headed call for the Bolts was in the first half, 4th and 11 from the 32ish, and instead of attempting the field goal, they go for it. I yelled out FOOLS!! Right then I hoped they would lose by 3 or less so that would haunt them. That was not the game, by any means, but it ended up being HUGE.
