  1. No need to segregate when Ye Ole' likes to procreate! Much like THE DEAN chillin at one of LA BILLZ shindigz... those are TRUE ladies men right there, rivaled only by yours truly. And might I add... YOU SIR, are a MAROON!
  2. Yes sir... yes sir... Ye Ole' is back in bidness. That being said... the black mamba was not a fan... went as far as to call the mods on Ye Ole'! Not very sporting is he? To the Black Mamba, I must say, "YOU SIR... are a MAROON!" Lets all keep this thread going... for posterity sake, of course! Ye Ole' likes our chances this week in a shootout over the Saints. Lets all say that we hang a double nickel on the Saints this week, shall we?
  3. Some here on this board say that Trent's development to super stardom has all been worth it, unless he gets injured yet again this year. These people also claim that, a so called "injury prone" QB has little to no value. What these unsavory characters fail to realize is that it doesn't matter if Trent gets hurt again or not... because... TRENT IS... 2 LEGIT... 2 LEGIT 2 QUIT! dah dah dah... 2 LEGIT... 2 LEGIT 2 QUIT! BREAK IT DOWN... *typewriter*
  4. Biggity Biggity BUMP!
  5. Just an interesting point on the Lions misfortune. Their regular season losing streak is currently 19 games, as they lost the season finale in 2007 at Green Bay. Their last win came at home against KC on Dec. 23, 2007. Prior to that win against KC they were on a 6 game losing streak. That means the Lions are 1-25 in their last 26 games. Now for the ironic twist... prior to this historical losing streak, the Lions were sitting at 6-2 midway through the '07 season following a week 9 beat down of the Broncos to the tune of 44-7. Everyone 'round here (Yes, Ye Ole' lives local here) was shouting the praise of Marinelli and felt the Lions were cruising to the playoffs and possible division crown. This truly is an epic meltdown for the ages... 6-2, coming off a 44-7 rout... and then 1-25 in your next 26 games, including the only 0-16 season in NFL history. Just unbelievable...
  6. "The Burner" George Evans, "The Player" Todd Owens, "Zone Buster" James Reed, and "Seem Splitter" Randy Schouman Debate and discuss... and lets make it robust, shall we? (For posterity sake... of course)
  7. Anyone sport dat wood when Special K's avatar bursts onto the screen? Even Darren McFadden would be like "got dat wooood right heeerrrre"
  8. Our best, greatest advantage we have tonight is quite simply the fact that NO ONE and I mean NO ONE has seen "Hollywood" Lee Evans and "The Player" Terrell Owens on the field at the same time with AVP calling the plays. We have no way of knowing what we will see from the offense tonight. Could be good... could be bad... but it's always a surprise!
  9. This has special sentiment to Ye Ole, as Runyan is an old high school classmate straight outta Carman-Ainsworth. CHEER FOR CARMAN-AINSWORTH! THE CAVALIERS CHARGE ON!!!! C.... A.... H..... S Awwwww yeeeeeahhhh boyeeee, Runyan's fin' to tear it up.
  10. That's why they call him Eric "Good" Wood. BJ might be great, but everyone goes down when facing Eric "Good" Wood.
  11. What happens in training camp stays in training camp. Eric's new name is Eric "Good" Wood... That's right... Ye Ole said it first, write it down
  12. Alas my good fellow ... Ye ole Cotton is back with a brand new invention... Somethin grabbed a hold of ye ole tightly... Football is back both daily and nightly
  13. You can't stop the bums rush... And our tandem of DEs are known as "Aaron squared". That's right its Schobel and Maybin both games are tight they sack the QB like they drink the Sprite. Awwww yeeeahhh. Somebody call 911 Schobel spinning round the dance floor ohhhh woahhhh. Aaron squared burst round the outside round the outside round the outside. Any other suggestions?
  14. Hey Deano... glad to see you came out for this post. Good effort!
  15. Tis' a sad day when a fun loving guy like Ye Ole' Cotton joins the ranks of the banking world Deano, but alas it may come to be... Thanks for the encouragement.
  16. I'm in the final stages of hiring for a "Banking Center Manager" position with Bank of America. Does anyone have any experiences good/bad working for this company?
  17. That commercial makes Ye Ole' Cotton bust a gut everytime.
  18. Leave it to this guy to turn a perfectly light hearted post into a JP Losman thread. You sir, are a MAROON!
  19. Season ticket sales are flatulent. Offseason trades were gassy. Russ Brandon's son, Rip, is on line toot.
  20. Ugh... who beefed?
  21. It is clear that JBlack23's friend is misguided. Clearly Fast Freddie Jackson is up to the task. He hits the hole with a force that harkens back to a day when Ye Ole' Cotton participated in an amateur porn squad. Game day would come, and Ye Ole' Cotton would be doin his thang just like Freddie Jackson be doin, and all the fans would gather 'round chanting "bust that nut! bust that nut!"
  22. Woah now! We can't be havin any of that around here! HOOTINANNY!
  23. Ye Ole' Cotton will volunteer to stand and lay some "lumber" on the interior. I ask only for 2 yr./5 mil contract with 2 mil guaranteed, and incentives/escalators that could push the total value to 7.5 mil for things like Pro Bowl selections.
  24. Is Jason Peters, dollar for dollar worth 11.5 million a year? Maybe, maybe not. But I don't think it really matters. The bottom line to me is, this team is much better with Jason Peters maybe being a little overpaid at LT, than signing a 1.5 mil/yr talent who is worth 1.5 mil/yr. If you're going to be competitive, you're going to overpay for players. If we want to sit here every offseason and say "I'm glad we didn't overpay for this guy and that guy, we have real 'value' in the contracts our team has signed..." we're probably going to continue missing the playoffs for a long time. The bottom line is, Jason Peters is a damn good LT and we're not signing anyone who could hold his jock strap to replace him, if he walks. So yes, all things considered, pay the man. That's just Ye Ole' Cotton's 2 cents. Who is with me?
  25. Ye Ole Cotton could ACCIDENTALLY come up with a better idea than this guy!
