  1. Following Thurman's recent comments regarding the firing of Polian way back when... it's time for a round of Ye Ole's what if....
  2. If you want to crown his ass, then crown his ass! Polian is who we thought he is! ... and we LET EM OFF THE HOOK!
  3. While you may be right, that logic also follows that the excitement generated by the TO signing was due to fans believing he would help the offense, thus leading to more wins, and a more exciting product on the field. I highly doubt all those seats were sold to watch more of the same. People truly believed this might add a spark. I truly don't believe that the Bills brass believed this was the case either. Ultimately playing exciting football and winning will sell seats. While signing a big name adds a buzz and excitement around the team, that's due to potential for better play and more wins. It's really that simple. The FO here may be inept, but I don't believe they purposefully lose. They simply don't know how to win.
  4. Nice contribution Jay, thanks for participating in my thread. As I said, I'm not guaranteeing a Bills win, but there are many on this board, the Texans board, and in the media, who seem as though the Texans don't even have to show up for this one to win. I just don't get that mentality. They're decent... they've not shown that they're world beaters.
  5. I am in no way guaranteeing a Bills victory on Sunday, but I feel the Bills have a reasonable shot to win. I can't understand why everyone is hailing the Texans as such a great squad that we have no shot at beating. Now there's even rumors floating around that Houston sports talk radio is claiming they should sit Johnson out of this one just to be safe, because they clearly don't need him to beat Buffalo. Who the hell are these people? Honestly, the Texans were on the ropes just like us a few weeks ago before stringing together a couple of wins. They got beat up by the Jets at home, they lost to Jacksonville at home... they scraped by the winless Titans by a field goal. Is this team really that scary? I'm just not seeing it.
  6. I'm coming out! yeahhh... I want the world to know, I am an Eskimo...
  7. I think you mean "Hootinanny" by Ye Ole' Cotton But Young Jeezy, being my protege, is also a nice choice
  8. Your avatar is the whip. Stay thirsty my friend!
  9. Even Ye Ole' knows to take Crayonz with a grain of salt... and as we all know Ye Ole' comes up with some crazy she-yacht himself.
  10. Like Ye Ole' stated before, we must all yell "BIIIIIIRRRRRRRDDDDDD MAAAAANNNNNNN!!!!!" *pause 3 seconds* then we all do a "Nature Boy Ric Flair" "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" in unison
  11. d) Keith Ellison is a BEAST! ... at least when he's not selling his new fragrance Keith Ellison: Solutions
  12. Ye Ole' still has it! I'd drop back... 3 steps and fire that laser strike in to Lee Evans.
  13. Straight up... he done learnt those moves from Lil' Cotton... singin "we at the HO-TEL... MO-TEL... HOLIDAY INN!" That was epic when Jackson did it in THE LEAGUE.
  14. Ye Ole' got to thinkin about a time when he made a tremendous gaffe in Pop Warner. Twas back in the day when Ye Ole' was simply known as Lil' Cotton... I was goin deep on the 9 route (that's a GO route for those not privvy to the position) and the QB hit Lil' Cotton in stride. Sure enough, I was going to have the game winning TD as I galloped to the endzone. I was in the clear... nothing but paydirt ahead. But alas, overcome with a sense of gamesmanship Lil' Cotton spiked the ball, started doing the funky chicken dance, giving the number one sign with both index fingers high above my head. One problem... I had spiked the ball at the 2 yd. line... and the defense recovered. Everyone was yelling "NO COTTON! NOOOO!!!" With only a few seconds left on the clock, the opposition took a knee and the game ended. With that in mind, what are some similar gaffes we have seen over the years on our beloved Bills? Lets discuss... for posterity sake of course!
  15. Modrak must shoulder his share of the blame, but not on this one. Hardy is a beast!
  16. This would be true in NHL world... but not in the NFL.
  17. Agreed. It's clear that Fitzpatrick is not as talented as Edwards, but is willing to attempt throws that Trent isn't. At this point, it's making Fitzpatrick a more attractive option. By attempting these throws, defenses are having to respect a dimension that wasn't there before. It's an issue where Fitzpatrick is a mediocre talent, but may lead the team to a number of wins.
  18. Fitzy's gonna have to hot foot it out of the alleged "pocket" when Carolina rushers come a' callin.
  19. Ouch! It's getting a little sporty in here, now! Getting a little sporty!
  20. Tis an onion busting bonanza in this thread! OP busts Broncos onions and now subsequent posters bust OP's onions for suggesting an ALL AFC Superbowl as part of his defense of original busting of the onions. Truly an irony wrapped in an oxymoron, tied together with a ribbon of riddles!
  21. Broncos vs. Ravens in the Superbowl? I wonder what the odds are on that bet. A long shot for certain!
  22. Why must we bust the Broncos' onions? Seems as though they drafted well, put together a good staff, they're playing hard.
  23. Then perhaps you would select "somewhere betwixt decent and cannon" as presented by our very own bizell
