I keep hearing that Levitre cannot play LT, because he has the short arms and doesn't have the ideal "range" if you will to be an NFL LT. That being said, I will tell you to a man, that Levitre looked far more effective this past season when he was at LT than when he was a guard. At guard, I recall many a time when he was pushed into the backfield and planted squarely on his rump roast. But, when he was at LT, he seemed to lock it down for the most part.

I certainly don't like the way they're playing right now, that's for sure. I think we'll be okay though. Ottawa is actually been on a worse slide than us of late (4-5-1 in last 10), and we still have a couple of games on them. Montreal is playing well, but I think it's too little, too late for them to make a run at the division. They're 6 points back and we have 3 games in hand on them. The tantamount question here, as I see it, is can we catch the Pens for the 2 seed... 5 points up on us, but we have 2 games in hand. Lets focus on the 2 seed and we shant miss the playoffs.

I completely agree with this sentiment. Many seem to be running around here saying that it's good that we're not signing free agents, because this is how to truly rebuild a team... through the draft. I truly hope that's the case and we'll finally get this ship headed in the right direction, but as of right now, nothing is different than any other regime that's been through here. All this F.O. has done is NOT sign free agents. They haven't done anything to acquire extra picks and they haven't proven that they will draft well. They could just as easily botch the draft while not signing free agents as previous regimes botched the draft while also adding some free agents. I truly hope Nix gets this thing right, but I'm not confident that he will simply because they've been unsuccessful or unwilling to sign free agents.
