  1. Great news, Dad!
  2. Good one, Bill! It really does depend on "whose ox is being gored?", eh?
  3. No attacks since 9/11/01. Absolutely shocking...
  4. They are not necessarily inflated. Canada puts up trade barriers that tell pharmaceutical companies they can't sell their OTC stuff like toothpaste or mouthwash unless they stick their pharmaceutical costs on others. It's kinda like the Canadian content laws in entertainment. Here is the pitifully small listing of pharmaceutical companies in Canada. Several are just subsidiaries of companies based in other nations. http://ca.dir.yahoo.com/Regional/Countries...harmaceuticals/

  6. I mete out a sentence of 30 days on ignore for willful deception...walnuts.
  7. Who pays for the development of your pharmaceuticals?...as long as you are passing around love. I'd hate to think that your love includes having others pay for your benefit...
  8. After tons of movies and TV episodes with gals rocking a guy in the nuts or slapping his face, can anyone imagine the howling that would go on if some director had the tastefully dressed Brad knee the terminally cute Buffy in the crotch or give her a good whack across the chops?
  9. What team doesn't crow about the next year being the year? Buy them tickets!
  10. The Dinner Game ... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119038/ Sub-titled...and absolutely hilarious.
  11. Nah. If it were a woman with a bogus ovary removal it would be a lead story on all the network and cable news programs.
  12. Owww... Man sues over testicle removal by Kimball Perry, Cincinnati Enquirer 05/30/08 "A Middletown man who was partially castrated during a 2007 medical procedure has sued the doctor after another medical group told him the body part removed wasn’t cancerous as he was led to believe. Stephen Kosti filed a Thursday civil suit in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court against Dr. Gary Kirsh and Tri-State Urological Services in Norwood (OH). Kirsh said he didn't remember Kosti. Calls to Tri-State Urological Services weren’t answered."... http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art...S0107/305300052
  13. I believe you have solved the mystery, /dev.
  14. Gawd, what a side-splitting send-up that flick was! Mars Attacks! was a pretty good rip, too.
  15. A rookie player without a signed contract is often the most affable, eager, willing, and charming chap one could ever hope for. We need to revisit this, after the Escalade has been purchased, the pockets bulge with jingle, the late-night clubs have been scouted out, and the posse has been bought. The more conservative approach would be to wait until the deodorant, sneaker, and man perfume contracts are inked.
  16. Perhaps it's just a luck-of-the draw tag, not a vanity plate? I don't get vanity plates. Egocentric obviously, and in this age of countless businesses and crooks trying to grab my personal info, why would I want to help their nefarious efforts by festooning a Look-at-Me!, Remember Me!, I'm Easy to Find!, Easy to Notice!, Follow me Home!, Stalk Me! tattoo onto my vehicle?
  17. Not an uncommon story. CIN drafted CBs at #1 consecutively - Jonathan Joseph in '06 and Leon Hall in '07. Joseph in his rookie year was blistered early on, but had several near-picks. He busted his foot in camp last season, but came back in the latter half and had 4 picks. Hall, like Joseph, was a piece of burnt toast for his first several games, learned from experience, and ended up with 5 interceptions and named to the all-rookie team. McKelvin will likely present the same way.
  18. That was a good one - the Pinto scene.
  19. I agree. Stiller was hilarious.
  20. * Best LT in league, and at least 2nd best, for the team with 3rd fewest # of pass attempts last season while running a fair number of double tight end offensive sets.
  21. Wouldn't think so... they wear much more clothing there. Perhaps someplace in the inner reaches of California?
  22. Hmmm...two orange guys and what appears to be Cheetah's grandson on growth hormones.
  23. Happy B'day !!!!
