  1. Really. A problem when topics such as this are discussed, is that the woodwork becomes active and all manner of insects trot out - making one go through the Ignore/PM Block routines.
  2. How many fingers am I holding up?
  3. That's it? Jeeze...I thought I was priming up another multi-page Gordio-against-the-entire-world rants. Rats.
  4. I don't nitpick everything. You made a dumb statement, about which you should show some humility as opposed to displaying a petulant snit. En Garde!
  5. You don't need to buy influence if you are willing to wait up to an hour for a cab...
  6. I can fault TD. You don't expend a very high #1 on a 300 lb.+ player sporting lower calves and ankles slightly larger than a toothpick.
  7. Ah, I see. Product sales>reality.
  8. Wow. Why bother playing it in the first place then? That's like declaring that all my pawns on the chessboards are Queens. Victory is assured...
  9. Good post. I'd mention that winter fertilizer application time varies...here in SW Ohio, early December is best because sometimes in November, the grass is still active. I've spot seeded in the summer - but it's very much a kid glove process...aerate the patch and scratch up the surface and mix in some fresh topsoil and the seed, tamp down, apply a bit of fertilizer, then peg down some screening.
  10. I give up, too. The only thing that comes to mind is Wimpy telling Popeye "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today".
  11. Really. Were I a player making bucketfuls of coin, and inclined to visit the clubs, I'd visit the big bosses of the local cab companies. Give'em a grand, and a bunch of tickets. Then give the dispatchers five C-notes each. And tell them that when I call, I expect a cab to show up in 15 minutes, and that the cabbie will get a fifty buck tip. If I'm satisfied - same deal next year.
  12. You had Henry pegged for a long time, Bill. I remember Allen.
  13. Zoysia. It's a bad choice. It's very invasive, and will attack and overtake your whole lawn. And also your neighbor's... And unless you live in the South, it only greens up for 5 months or so - otherwise, it's dormant and brown.
  14. This is an odd thing happening. Out-of-town lawyer, but not a word yet. No word from the vehicle owner. An impounded vehicle. One wonders if there is more to sniff about than a hit and run. Inaction is the fuel of speculation, good or bad...
  15. I guess he did that; his preferred lawyer seems to be mum on a Monday. So speculation will continue to rise.
  16. How old was this woman?
  17. I can't refute!
  18. CIN - Andrew Whitworth, their 2006 #2. Their OL coach Paul Alexander is one of the best in the business ...which helps them a lot. He's a master at teaching versatility. Whitworth plays guard and tackle. Franchise player Stacey Andrews plays guard and rt. tackle. Under Alexander, Steinbach played guard, left tackle and filled in more than admirably at center when called on. When G Mike Goff left to go to success with SD, B'gals acquired RG Bobbie Williams from PHI. But generally, they like to draft OLs and groom them. B'gals have an OL entering his 3rd year under Alexander - Nate Livings from LSU. If CIN cuts him, BUF should grab him.
  19. Preferred or common? No stock answers please.
  20. So - we should jump on board with google, an outfit dedicated to obtaining every bit of personal info about us that they can, and help them out?
  21. Hey, these 30%+ rates of VD infection among 35 year-olds and younger could just be a another government lie.
  22. So...the Bills - per contract I suppose - can require him to talk to whomever his preferred lawyer is, of the moment. That's a pretty harsh requirement..."It's up to YOU, and we are going to enforce that contract clause to make sure YOU choose whatever lawyer YOU want!"
