  1. Well one thing we've learned the past few years is rules only matter if someone is willing to enforce them with consequences. The NFL could easily claim extenuating circumstances.
  2. https://www.space.com/spacex-starman-tesla-mars-flyby There's a link where you can track the roadster in this story

  3. I think it's more a gentlemen's agreement than a law. Can be.
  4. Question: who conducts team Covid tests and who controls reporting of results? Is it fully independent of the teams? I'm not suggesting that Bill Belichick would bury positive Covid results.....buuuuuuut, could he do it?
  5. It just looks like tough talk but no actual will to follow through. They keep bringing up the "F" word but I doubt they'll actually do it.
  6. I wouldn't count on Terry and Kim throwing money around.
  7. I can't believe they still haven't made a decision. I get the sense the league is going to plow ahead and are crossing their fingers there's no more positive tests. Is that safe?
  8. As long as he gets a check, it's cool.
  9. I believe they've already decided no.
  10. This is a great opportunity to study infection models. Might as well make lemonade.
  11. Put it on the pile with the thousands of others. We'll get back to you.
  12. So the suggestion is a team didn't follow protocol because they didn't know a game forfeit was possible? Sorry. Not an acceptable excuse.
  13. Looks like they are moving forward despite the Covid positives among their athletes. I assume some will be on TV. If you have ESPN3/Plus you can get all the games. First three Wed/Thu, next three Sat. Alternating weeks away then home. #UBHornsUp!
  14. Bills on in Boston third week in a row. Maybe we'll pick up some frontrunner fans? Story in the Globe today says Red Sox TV ratings down 54% this year.
  15. Seriously, why involve labor in any decisions that impacts their members?
  16. Obviously if a game does not impact playoff seeding it probably wouldn't be made up. It makes more sense to pause the season a few weeks to get this outbreak under control. Maybe even lob off a few games, from 16 to 14 or 12.
  17. That's why the NFL is investigating. There have been reported of unauthorized gatherings.
  18. You can't argue with a virus. It's gonna do whatever. Positive thinking doesn't negate it
  19. If I'm Goodell I would investigate if Gilmore was deliberately trying to infect other players. #Covidgate
  20. That seems prudent. The NFL can't afford to let the season get derailed. Paused? Sure.
