  1. Even if by the letter of the rules, they were technically holding (which I have serious doubts about), the eye test says otherwise. I feel both were ticky tack calls. This type of stuff happens on every play and the fact they called them back to back on successive plays is mind blowing. I saw multiple holds that were 10 times worse that went uncalled during the game.
  2. Turd of a half. With an assist to the idiot refs
  3. RIP John
  4. This was my first game ever in person. My dad took 10 yr old me and my younger brother. We were in the aisle on our way out when the play happened, and all I remember was that it was freezing, my view was blocked by adults, and then a crazy cheer as Hooks made the catch. It was still very exciting even though I didn’t really see the play.
  5. Yeah, not likely he’ll see the field unless there’s an injury
  6. The wind is pretty smart. It may get confused initially but usually gets the last laugh. Wind confusion fail: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatchewan/new-mosaic-stadium-wind-unpredictable-1.4347718
  7. Thought Livinginthepast was being sarcastic. Wind confusion has been a running joke on this board since the design was revealed. https://www.audacy.com/wben/news/local/new-bills-stadium-to-feature-mesh-like-exterior
  8. Thanks for the advice 4mer. He had every test known to man (it seemed) including MRI, CT, and lumbar puncture. Everything is coming back negative including autoimmune markers. Symptoms have started to improve, but keeping vigilante with follow ups and educating myself as there has never been a definitive diagnosis.
  9. Obviously Patrick Mahomes https://www.facebook.com/reel/360003653862532?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v
  10. Sorry to hear. I had to cancel last weeks trip to Buffalo with my son because he came down with some crazy post viral neurological syndrome. It happens. Glad you’re ok.
  11. Latest drone video from 10/21. Looking pretty cool. However, if that’s the extent of the overhang, it will cover very little of the lower bowl, if any.
  12. She doesn’t say which 5 cities She also says “we’re [the state] in for $650M of what will be a well over $2B stadium.” What?? No other detail given on what caused such crazy overruns of what started at $1.4B
  13. It’s concerning. Can you get away with it with lesser teams like the Titans….yes. But it doesn’t bode well for matchups with the top teams.
  14. Both guys were jockeying. Thought it could’ve gone OPI as well
  15. Big acquisition of Amari Cooper. Our brain trust targets him 1 time in the first half…just mind blowing
  16. Coaching is atrocious - no excuse for this effort, at home, against a clearly inferior opponent.
  17. That’s something I hadn’t factored in, but come on, that would be so bush league if that were truly the case. 18. Good discussion. I wasn’t trying to create a conspiracy theory with my OP. It was just perplexing to me that he hasn’t been seeing the field at all once he got healthy, not even that he should be starting, especially considering that he was regarded as a key FA signing After reading all the comments and thinking about it more, it probably boils down to a combination of things: 1. I do believe that it takes a lot to gain McD’s trust. players that have been in the system have an inherent advantage. 2. Edwards’ injuries in OTA and training camp put him behind and didn’t allow him to compete early on. 3. In season opportunities for Edwards to impress in practice are limited because he’s not practicing with the first team. 3. The other safeties - Hamlin and Bishop, while not great, have played just well enough to keep McD happy and keep Edwards on the bench. Rapp seems to be playing really well since he came back from the concussion. Having said all that, it would be nice if he got on the field a bit to see what he’s got, even if it’s to spell the others or in garbage time.
  19. Yeah I’m with you. Cutting him is needed now, but before the Cooper trade, they could’ve at least used him more down the field. I really don’t get this coaching staff.
