He's above average doing what they ask him to do, which is drop back and throw it to the first read who may or may not be covered, but usually isn't according to scheme.

He didn’t have blazing speed but it seemed nobody could ketchup to him.

I don’t see Tua as average. He executes his one read at a high level. That, or the scheme gets his one read open all the time. But either way, take away his first option, and he doesn’t have answers.

One encouraging thing from yesterday was Cook got through some arm tackles, or at least fell forward. That wasn't always the case in Georgia, he could get armed down and didn't always finish runs. I expected him to need an offseason or two to work on strength and conditioning, but it's a good sign for the short term that he can be effective enough now.

I disagree. Because it was a crap throw and incomplete, the penalty was declined and the down counted. Otherwise they have to take the penalty and the Offense gets another crack at it. It's not like it didn't matter.

In fairness it was Bell, 2 #1's and a #2 IIRC.
