Right now it seems the majority of Bills fans (to a point myself included) are bumming about the upcoming season, thinking about 6-10 or even worse and all the wheels falling off with this team. Remember last year, we make nice moves on defense, come out and beat the eventual SB champs, beat Jacksonville and it felt like the early 90's all over again, but then at the end of the season when we were beat down by New England it them felt like 1985??? Here is the point, after last year, should we really get too up or down about this team? Based on last year, who knows, maybe its good karma that things seem worse so far then they did last preseason at this point. My feeling now after thinking about it: Why bother getting too high or too low anymore in late August about this team or any team. Look at the Pats last year, lose the 1st game 31-0, did it matter? Eagles lok AWFUL and are 0-2? All this years the Fish look great in September, where does it get them? Does anyone feel the same way I do?

Pete, Im right here with ya as well!! I love how so many anti-Yankees fans assume that EVERY Yankee fan is a homer, how EVERY Yankees fan is a band-wagon jumper, heres a memo: Not True. I remember the lean years as much as the great ones, the lean years including Pascual Perez missing a start because he got lost going to Yankee Stadium as one example!!! Yankees pitching has been an issue from Day 1, but so many Yankee haters were whining and crying about how baseball is over because the Yankees spend too much $ when they got A-Rod, they put the blinders on before the season started. Well now its August 30th and the Yankees are very very vulnerable at this point. Now baseball seems ok to these Yankees haters, and its ok now because the Yankees have holes. And lets face it, sooner or later, the law of averages has to come into play, the Red Sox will win the World Series or beat the Yankees, and if it happens, hey so be it, it only took you 80+ years, Ill tip my cap to them. Can the Yankees win the World Series? Sure they can. Do I think they will win? No

You know why Im not dissapointed one bit that Team USA lost? Because maybe the NBA players will get a wake up call that oh yes, shooting is still a part of the game and maybe these players will start seeing that instead of worrying about getting on the Budweiser Hot Seat or the Top 10 plays on $port$center. Maybe they will realize that playing as a team STILL matters. What is wrong with being a little happy for Argentina, we have SMOKED these countries over the last few Olympics, its not like we have never won in basketball before. Im more into the Olympics for the other athletes, especially the non-pros in which this is their only moment to shine, why do millionare NBAwes and NHL players in the Winter Games get more attention during this time then they deserve??? I read on cbsposrtline fantasy that Griffith and Mike Anderson are in a dead heat, but on rotoworld.com it says Griffin is the CLEAR favortie to be the starting RB...does anyone have any insight into this? Im hearing 2 different reports... Any input is much appreciated.

With all due respect to some here, I am having a hard time thinking of a positive when it comes to JP getting hurt, sure he can learn from Wyche, Tom Clements and Mularkey, but he wont be able to do anything in practice, all he can do is watch film. Regardless of the injury, I dont believe we would have seen JP as the starter till 05 anyway unless the season was a complete mess by Nov-Dec
