  1. Edwards has to thicken his skin Sully asked a legit question Sully couldn't wait to run JP out of town The honeymoon is over for Trent
  2. the pack are in their 2nd game of switching from a 4-3 to a 3-4 they don't have the right type of players to run the defense correctly yet (it's in all the local papers here) based on that you would expect missed assignments or a blown coverage from the Packers that Trent and the Bills could exploit NOPE- they still made us look like a JV team NO TDs FROM THE STARTING OFFENSE YET
  3. before yesterday i was thinking 7-9 now i'm trending towards 5-11 NO 1ST STRING OFFENSIVE TDs YET THIS PRESEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. got club level seats from a fellow Bills fan in the area 10 yard line great view could see plays develop- would be equivalent of the same club level for Rich -there are very few parking lots so not much tailgating that i was used to-they actually allow street parking almost up to the stadium- we parked 4 blocks from the stadium on the street and walked up -there are a lot of bars in the area so we did hang in the Stadium View bar parking lot and drank beer with 300-500 others and a band -anti Farve shirts outnumbered pro Farve shirts 20-1 -stadium atrium is fantastic- great in winter when u need to step inside for a sec -no one in GB knew who Trent Edwards was- all confirmed he looked clueless and sucked- no pocket awareness- telegraphed passes- a second late getting ball out to receivers -2 females fans behind us pointed out that Jauron claps a lot after bad plays but never got in any ones face and never seemed involved with directing the team - our starting running backs ran without conviction- there were holes there if they were running hard -Ellison needs to be cut along with any 2 of Ryan, Denney, Schobel -Scott or Poz made 90% of our 1st team tackles -2nd team played harder than the 1st team
  5. wow get ready to duck and hide - you dared criticize Trent Christ
  6. poor pocket awareness also- he should have 'felt' the corner blitz
  7. we have a group of 4 going- anyone else planning on being there? let me know and we can possibly hook up
  8. dag nabbit Glove Boy way to throw it into double coverage
  9. the new Las Vegas QB- heard he has a cannon arm
  10. i 2nd 'dead flowers' i've also always loved Richards singing 'happy'
  11. crispy is the only way to get them outside of Buffalo i tell the fry cook ' when you think they are done leave them in for another minute' nothing worse than a raw wing
  12. until proven other wise we are a bottom 1/3 offense
  13. i'm still pissed about not picking ngata
  14. i understand what you are saying
  15. i got the date wrong it was '77 explain what did i miss or do not understand - he had to live off island to be able to return in 2004, no?
  16. i understand, but Daniel f was killed in 74 and lived off island for many years never aging- not saying i can explain it
  17. 9 of 10 missed on message in a bottle
  18. i had a lot of dreams about this last night i wonder is richard is really 'island dead' (killed but still somehow among us) like christian and daniel f. it seems like people stop aging when they are in that 'island dead' phase i also see him and the others being original black rock crew members the way the story seems to have gone out and come back in over the seasons i can see the show ending with them blowing up jug head and transporting themselves back onto the oceanic flight in 2004- this time it does not crash but lands safely in L.A. as if nothing happened for the folks on the island they reset also but to where/when i do not know then this repeats- kind of like the big bang expansion and then contraction to a singularity in the universe repeating over time still wondering how the little black kid and his dog are going to be loose end tied
  19. for the most part the land, vines, buildings are decades if not centuries old and paid for and sun and rain are free yes there are taxes and wages and other ongoing costs but it obviously can be done the real question is how can these winieries in California and France get away with ripping us off for $100 bottles- no matter how low their yields are
  20. totally agree on the spanish reds- great taste and great value this is the time of year to pick up some rose's from Spain - totally different than a white zin
  21. try a Malbec from Argentina for a really nice inexpensive red Alamos and Las Hornigas(sp) are 2 i like nero d'avolo and primitivo from sicilia/southern italy are interesting also adelsheim from Oregon makes a nice Pinot Noir but the price is above 10 you can still find some good pinot grigios like Kris or Zenato but that part of the shelf is getting flooded with pi$$ from movement away from oaky chardonnays- everyone made an oaky chardonnay and now everyone makes a crisp (but not always good) pinot grigio kim crawford sauvignon blanc is good from New Zealand but is getting expensive- there are probably other good ones from N.Z. or South Africa out there but i have not tried any lately My # 1 rule for buying wine: stay away from California and France (except for the Rhone valley Reds or a Macon Village type white or a Pepi) typically overpriced for the quality unless you want to spend in the 100s- and why spend in the hundreds when you can do good at 10-20
  22. you mean 'toast'?
