  1. This is a tremendous show with top of the line acting. I always enjoyed Bryan Cranston on Malcolm in the Middle, but I enjoy him even more in Breaking Bad, acting in a polar opposite role. That Vince Gilligan had one heck of an epiphany when he thought of creating the show. My one complaint about Breaking Bad is the grief I feel for Walt episode after episode... each GD show, he encounters some new almost-impossible-to-solve problem that will surely catch up with him in the end.
  2. Jameer might be playing in the Finals! http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...858&id=1060 I know Otis Smith has already snubbed the idea, but a higher up, Bob Vander Weide, brought it up this time. This would be huge for the Magic, seeing as how he was their leading scorer in both games against the Lakers (although the article speculates he will only be contributing off the bench).
  3. Very true, Lebron seems like a pretty classy guy. He dominates teams best defenders (Mickael Peatrus), but yet he doesn't beat his chest (much), curse, or act like a pre madonna. Also, when he hit that game winner during game 2, he didn't run down court like a jerkoff, stiff arm a little kid, or act like he was the king of the world. Thanks for supporting the Magic, Buftex!!
  4. Yea.. What a punk move by Lebronie. I must admit though, after watching this series, I say Lebron is 1 and Kobe is 1a in the league right now. Lebron can do it all, shoot the three and the midrange jumper, blow by the defender and jam it, and he can defend anybody (why was he covering Rafer Alston this whole series??). One thing I hate about the league is the preferential calls for all of the 'superstars'. Whenever Lebron drives, it seems as though he will be getting an and 1 or two free throws. I am a tad scared to see what type of calls Kobe will get. All in all, I think the home court advantage is crucial for the Lakers. Orlando may be solid on the road, but they make it extremely difficult to win; the only road games they have won decisively so far this post season have been game 6 in Philly and game 7 in Boston. If the Magic can steal a game in Los Angeles, I like there chances. IT FEELS SO GOOD TO SEE ONE OF MY FAVORITE TEAMS GO TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP!! GO MAGIC!! P.S.- Is it me or are basketball players the most dramatic athletes this side of the prime meridian?
  5. If we thought Terrell Owens pulls in a lot of media, just picture what Lebron would do for an NFL team. I was surprised to see that his 44 inch vertical leap would only make the top 10 at the combine which shows the elite athleticism of NFL players. I would say that the nearest player to Lebron in the NFL is Vincent Jackson.

  8. Yes, Maybin is a bit more athletic than Schobel. This is from today's Buffalo News: "Maybin's ability to burst off the edge is evidenced by his explosive workout numbers (40-inch vertical jump; 10-feet, 10-inch broad jump). His 40 time was about 4.6 seconds. By comparison, Bills end Aaron Schobel, a superb athlete, ran 4.75 in the 40 with a 38-inch vertical jump and a 9-11 broad jump." http://www.buffalonews.com/452/story/651511.html Also, BuffaloBills.com lists Schobel at 6-4, 243, and we do not hear many people calling him undersized.
  9. I think this guy can play safety too, but, then again, whitner is supposedly going to play FS.
  10. Here is what a scout had to say about Maybin: "Maybe has the best take off, first three steps, I’ve seen since (Jevon) Kearse came out,” said a scout who rated Maybin the best rusher in the class. “Maybin can do things you can’t coach, and you coach the things he can’t do. Tough as (crap), 20 years old, can run, competes.” Maybe he is the Bills' Shawne Merriman?
  11. I like Maybin... I think the guy is only 20 yrs old and yet he had 12 sacks last year.. Also, Buffalorumblings reported: "We're hearing that they'll be working the phones to try to move up... so stay tuned."
  12. Lmao.. what a bunch of negative nancies!!
  13. It's looking like Raji to GB... That means Orapko or Oher to BUF.
  14. Jeesh, just one more OT worth picking at #11 left on the board now.
