Here is where i take some comfort... looks like McD has finally got the message that you have to stake these guys and not just hold on for time to run out. That aggressive approach may hurt if you fail after all it is risk reward. But in the end to beat them you have to aggressively manage the risk and BEAT them. This gives me some hope for a different playoff outcome if it all falls into place.

I noticed that and actually said it out loud to the folks I was watching with, he wasnt just straight forward speed, he had balance and cutting ability. It would be a huge bonus if he becomes that player consistently. Almost like you added another legit NFL wideout.

I would say last year was a 4... but I am basing this on over 50 years of watching this team... there have been some very very very bad WR rosters... this one doesnt hit the top 10 of all time bad... So to me a 5 is a mediocre roster compared to our historical rosters... its fine, functional, doesnt strike fear into the hearts of opposing teams... but needs to be contended with... I mean we did have 7 30 point games and are 3rd in scoring.... so there is that... But to your point, it certainly does seem to be more of a grind, require more big runs by josh to sustain drives, need for short YAC passes and little down field and the lack of the long ball or anyone to go get it is honestly concerning... less now as we go into colder weather... I like what I see out of Coleman and Shakir and Kincaid. Anyways, interesting question.

I give them credit for this... and I hate to quote Romo.... but you dont beat the Chiefs by running out the clock on Defense... you have to beat them... the 4th and 2 call as much as I was like I dunno man... was a solid situational coaching call.... 3 options... kick the FG with a kicker who has proven he can miss just about any kick...say 70/30 he makes it) make it and give them the ball with 2:20 2 time outs and they need to score a td to win and you never see the ball again... 60-40 Chief score a td if we make the kick (my guess)... Kick the FG and miss it (30/70 for a miss, my guess) and give the Chiefs the ball on the 35 to kick a FG and win it... at least 80% that happens.... or go for it on 4 and 2 with the best 4th down offense in the league and take the game on our terms... 70/30 we make it... I say go with Josh Allen and our offense over our kicker and defense and Patrick M.... it worked out... This
