  1. The Pegula factor (aka Sabres-esque moves) dictates it will be - Rick Dennison.
  2. Damar leads into all of his tackles with his sternum, and this injury surprises you? This is the least surprising thing to happen since Rex hired his brother.
  3. I agree with this point, it's always been a complaint of many people when doing an all-22 analysis. I think it's been magnified over the past year & a half due to Josh's evolution to eliminate INTs and avoid risk more often.
  4. I say FU Jobu, I'll do it myself.
  5. I go to the games. I buy my season tickets. But it's more out of reflex at this point. I don't blindly cheer for them anymore, almost 40 years in the NFL meat grinder has worn me down. They win, that's great - high fives. Lose, oh well. Always next decade. The athletes here today will be the enemy tomorrow (Diggs, Hollins) - it all seems trite at times. I do like talking about what the coaching staff we're stuck with FOREVER can do to eek out a few more wins this season. But that isn't what we're talking about here.
  6. Get ready, because the future you've described will most likely be the reality. Only 1/32 get to be the top dawg every year.
  7. So you're all torqued up for Lane Kiffin (which I do like, but he'll remain a college coach), but you also admit that change will not happen until Josh is at least 32 years old. Why put yourself thru all that wasted energy? This team is just a billionaire's fun time hobby.
  8. Pegula will never make a change before that. Bet the house.
  9. Why fantasize about coaches when we don't even know who will be hot in the winter of 2027? Seems like a fools errand to me.
  10. Short of a massive sexual assault scandal, the HC and GM will not change in at least 2 seasons.
  11. McD Process Rule #32: player X has to participate on the PS for a minimum of 3 weeks before they can see the field.
  12. He bailed on a clean pocket at 1.5 seconds
  13. Probably needs 3 weeks before he can suit up. Book it now.
  14. Holy crap Josh was bad on that rep.
  15. I didn't watch Hard Knocks, but now I want to rage watch it! Dissect all the poor coaching advice. He is older & always hobbled.
  16. I had a previous comment deleted here because I didn't add the "speculate" caveat. I've seen enough of this to know. Hamstring pulls are 3-4 weeks every time. Unless it tears right off the bone, then it's longer.
  17. I maintain that we won't see Davis on the 53. I suspect that injury is too great to overcome and get any semblance of NFL speed back. Prove me wrong, Gabe.
  18. Speculatively speaking, Kincade is out for 3-4 games. Probably be back for the Bengals game.
  19. I think the coaching staff believes they have regressed, and that's all that matters. They have changed the way they attack defenses in response by eliminating the position. Personally, I think the WR room has severely regressed: - Shakir is the same at <10 yard targets. - Coleman looks lost, not an NFL talent. - Samuel is slowing down. - Moore is not explosive or fast (think of the McKenzie role). - Shavers is Hollins - a great blocker minus the getting open & catching the ball part. - Palmer is Cooper - he can get open, but will miss half the season before it's over. Plus Cooper could run a 9 route, Palmer can't.
  20. While he is quite fragile, sitting him would start a messy offseason divorce. The Bengals don't want that (yet).
  21. He 1000% plays if he can. Imagine telling a healthy professional athlete that you can't play because of organizational dysfunction.
  22. It might be the thing about the devoid WR talent. But I won't know until Sal & Beane tell me.
  23. I've always said this team will win it all when you least expect it. Like the Eagles in 2017 - lose their up and coming "franchise" QB to a season ending injury and then proceed to go on a tear.
