  1. Here is what the list had to say about safety Andre Cisco tier 6 Age: 25 Height: 6-0 Weight: 210 A third-round pick and three-year starter, Cisco brings a good combination of size, athleticism and ball skills (eight INTs, 24 PDs since 2022), but he needs to become more consistent. He appeared to be involved in several busts as the Jaguars’ defense fell apart in 2024; he lost snaps in November and was pulled from the starting lineup for two games in December. Primarily a free safety, Cisco has the range to play deep but has shown enough in run support to merit a varied role. It would not be surprising to see him excel in the right environment. and here is the piece on Darius Slayton tier 4 Age: 28 Height: 6-1 Weight: 198 Slayton has quietly been one of the league’s better big-play threats for six seasons, averaging 15.0 yards per catch despite playing with Daniel Jones and a handful of replacement-level QBs. He found a soft market in 2023, re-signing for two years and $12 million, and he’ll hit free agency again after totaling just seven catches in seven games with Tommy DeVito and Drew Lock. In the right environment, Slayton could bring significant upside, ideally with a No. 1 target to draw attention and a QB willing to attack downfield. Darnell Mooney and Gabe Davis each got $13 million annually last spring, which feels a tad high for Slayton but not implausible.
  2. They have plenty of cap space to do what they want. Joe broke it down with a really nice offseason outlook last week. I just disagree with giving money to a small declining player in brown. I would however pay Andre Cisqo for his potential. I don’t think he will be that expensive. I would also pay Darius slayton. Good guy, teammate, good size and traits and dying to be on a winner. i think cisqo and slayton can be had for a reasonable amount of money. I have seen slayton talked about in the Mooney and Gabe Davis area of around 13 million per year. I would do that for him. If the cost for Garrett was two one’s and an espenesa that’s beyond reasonable. they will have plenty of picks and comp picks next year to still have good drafts. as far as the cap goes Garrett is worth the money. In just don’t want them trading away whole drafts for the guy. That is the scenario you are talking about, acting as if he is all they need. That is a bad idea.
  3. The athletics top free agents by tier https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6119321/2025/02/24/nfl-2025-free-agent-rankings-best-available/?source=user_shared_article 2025 NFL free-agency rankings top 150: Where do Aaron Rodgers, Tee Higgins, Sam Darnold fall? their list has safety Andre Cisco as a tier 6 guy and Darius slayton as a tier 5 guy. that seems perfect to me. Cisco has the size, ability and potential and slayton has the tools to help day one make a difference. Paying Cisco for his potential is the perfect situation. Wouldnt stop them from drafting a top safety if one falls to them and can play free safety.
  4. A nice pre combine state of the bills from Joe buscaglia this morning. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6151943/2025/02/24/bills-2025-nfl-combine-rumors-prospects/?source=user_shared_article Bills’ 2025 NFL Combine preview: Super Bowl aspirations, James Cook, and WR need
  5. If they could get Myles Garrett at the price Joe buscaglia speculated then yes they should make the trade. if it costs more than that they should stay the course and use all their picks and available money to get vet help. he put a plan out that was pretty excellent. The only thing I didn’t like was giving Hollywood brown a 2 year deal worth around 19 million. That’s a terrible deal, that guy is not what Buffalo needs at wr. A small declining player.
  6. He wants an extension worth more money. They don’t want to pay him.
  7. I’ve read all week that it’s the giants that are interested. I guess they want him in that Kurt Warner 2004 role if they draft someone. or they can not draft anyone and go get more weapons and plug in Stafford for three years or so.
  8. Rookies playing and your starters injured is not the same thing. Very different actually.
  9. that is because they had a number of guys who were good enough to fill in and play at wr. more importantly, the injury to rice didn't happen the week before, it happened months ago and he didn't play basically the whole year. Apples and Oranges. Had rice gone out vs houston and then worthy also and they didn't have hopkins then you could make this statement. Rice had nothing to do with the game played a few weeks ago.
  10. yes they did and last year they missed a game tying kick with a few minutes to go. now imagine if the defense was injury free and not having to try and protect players and just run their scheme. They probably would have been running clock in those moments or looking to score to take a 2 score lead and seal the game.
  11. its a fact. Missing benford and rapp was critical in this years loss and last years loss the defense was decimated. its not an excuse in any way. Trying to win the most difficult game of the year with backup players is really hard to do.
  12. they have had critical injuries on defense each of the last 3 playoff losses. Its hard to beat good teams with your top corner out every year plus all the other injuries.
  13. Speaking of Dallas, bosa is zekes former roomate. He is an off the field party guy just like zeke. The two of them blamed another roomate for their troubles to not affect their draft position. I wouldn't want Bosa at any price. Rarely plays, football doesn't seem all that important to him and is a party guy. probably wouldn't consider buffalo because of those reasons anyway.
  14. Joe was on with Matt bove today talking about his offseason article.
  15. Yea I have zero interest in Hollywood brown. jmo of course.
  16. Dallas defensive line is worse than Buffalo's and they have matt eberflus so I imagine this is the kind of signing Dallas will be looking to make if Eberflus likes the player.
  17. This is a mock plus more of an overall potential offseason outlook from Joe Buscaglia at the athletic. Here is the link. Bills mock offseason: Free agents, draft plans, and trade markets https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6149415/2025/02/21/bills-2025-mock-offseason-free-agent/ I don't want to give the whole thing away but he has a great plan for the offseason. I will just highlight the big things. I will say I wouldn't even pick up the phone and call hollywood brown let alone 2 years for 18 million. Bills cap space to begin the exercise: -$10.13 million The NFL informed teams that the 2025 salary cap would fall between $277.5 and $281.5 million, so for this exercise, we split the difference and put it at $279.5 million. The -$10.13 million hole is far smaller than what the Bills had to deal with last offseason before cutting all their big-name veterans to clear cap space. on von miller - resigned In this case, I had Miller taking a $10 million pay cut — meaning $10 million in cap savings. It would guarantee him over $7 million this season Restructures to Josh Allen, Dion Dawkins and Ed Oliver Release Sam Martin and trade Elam. he has the team resigning Douglas, Hollins, Ty Johnson, Reggie Gilliam, Ferguson and Quinton Morris Trade for Myles Garrett trade details Buffalo receives: DE Myles Garrett, 2026 5th round, 2027 7th round Cleveland receives: No. 30, 2026 1st round, 2027 4th round, DE A.J. Epenesa Free agent signings Hollywood Brown, Derek Barnett Then this is his mock for the rest of the draft. The pick at No. 56: CB Darien Porter, Iowa State The pick at No. 62: DT Jordan Phillips, Maryland The pick at No. 107: LB Chris Paul Jr., Ole Miss The pick at No. 130: EDGE Oluwafemi Oladejo, UCLA Trade! Bills receive Nos. 132 and 245 from Lions for Nos. 170 and 176. The pick at No. 132: S Billy Bowman Jr., Oklahoma The pick at No. 173: G Connor Colby, Iowa The pick at No. 203: WR Ricky White III, UNLV The pick at No. 205: QB Kurtis Rourke, Indiana The pick at No. 245: P Jeremy Crawshaw, Florida New Bills depth chart
  18. proven as false already. In other news Zach Martin retired today. The cowboys had two first ballot hall of famers on their line along with travis frederick who was outstanding and couldn't even make a championship game. All while playing every year in perfect weather conditions and in a division that has had one good team in it over the last decade.
  19. The athletic has a mock draft this morning from all the beat writers. All of the defensive guys we all keep talking about were taken and Joe Buscaglia went with this. 30. Buffalo Bills: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas In case you’re wondering … yes, there were brief discussions with the Browns about Myles Garrett for this mock. While there was no deal this time, the Bills are a clear match in terms of team needs, winning environment and motivation. As for this selection, while the Bills have defensive needs, they also lacked receivers who could separate in the intermediate and deep areas of the field. They also didn’t have a true starter at Z-receiver in 2024. Drafting Golden gives them all those things they were missing, with a tremendous bargain at No. 30. This was the best need-meets-value option on the board, with two second-round picks on the way to address the defense and take advantage of the defensive line depth in this class. — Joe Buscaglia
  20. Didnt he say he hated buffalo and its fans? I imagine he ends up with the chargers or something. I guess maybe wherever rodgers goes. Maybe they are co h0sting a podcast next year together solving pressing world issues while eating taco bell.
  21. https://www.nfl.com/news/2025-nfl-free-agency-derek-carr-tyler-lockett-among-21-notable-cut-candidates-in-nfc?campaign=Twitter_atn potential cuts around the league. interesting note there on cam Jordan. We have his old coach from the saints on staff. of course most teams would be interested in him if he is affordable though.
  22. 100%. He is a giant No. seems like the kind of guy that will land in baltimore or the jets or something. Maybe even Cincy if they end up gutting their roster because of money.
  23. I was just reading that Dalvin tomlinson could be cut in cleveland because of their bad cap situation. He fits the bill as maybe an upgrade over Jones. He might be too expensive though considering that position is probably going to see two rookies get drafted.
