Dewayne Carter blowing up a screen last night. Last week this was a problem and carter and hoecht recognized it right away after winning at the line of scrimmage.

yea I guess he wasn't in man or maybe he was, the wr switched and he was caught chasing. I really don't think they are going to put him in that situation much in the regular season. I will make a video of the play from the all 22 quick.

I am watching the all 22 at the moment and I have to say the bishop stuff is being blown way out of proportion because of one play where not for nothing but hamlin should have made the tackle and bishop shouldn't be playing man to man with wr. anyway, Carter blew up the screen on the second drive, he won off the snap and then recognized it was a screen and got in the way and forced campbell to throw it into the ground. The bills looked like they were in cover 1 and depending on the formation just sending whichever safety 15 to 20 yards deep....in the first three drives anyway.

Personally, I am hoping they all install the arm wrestling machine stallone had in his rig in over the top. This way they can workout on the way to the stadium too. mostly it is very important to remember the immortal words of bull harvey,

Sederick Van Pran Granger's injury is a bummer this summer and the fact that he probably won't play at all this year stinks but he is a player that seemingly will be a starter at some point or given the opportunity to be a starter. They like grable and he seems like another guy that is being developed. Ray Davis proved who he was last year. He is the perfect number 2 back. Carter is the one who is the most dissapointing to me. He played in a similar system in collge and played the 1, 3 and 5 technique at end in college. I thought he would at least be able to stand in there and play the run well even if he had no pass rush ability. He has struggled this summer it seems and yesterday he looked exhausted in the second half of the game. Im curious how many snaps he played last night. Coleman is an ascending player. It seems to be calling the 24 draft a bust is very premature.

I just read it was the first shutout for the bears in the preseason since 1994. I just want to say 1994 sucked. Everything about 1994 sucked.

I never understood the forrest signing personally and he is a part of a below average to average group of free agents that were brought in to play defense this offseason. More than likely ogunjobi and forrest get cut. Here is what Joe Buscaglia had to say. Can’t see any scenario barring injury where Hancock would play over rapp/hamlin/bishop or Lewis. he might get into some dime packages during the year if they like where he is at as the season goes on I imagine though.

Forrest and Ingram played in the fourth quarter. No idea what that means for either of them but it seemed like they played the guys who were on the fence all in the first half.

The season starts in 3 weeks. Neither Palmer or Moore have played a down of football yet with the bills.

I remember vividly last year the bills with and without their starters could not run the ball on the bears and the usual suspects were freaking out the next day. there was a lot of the bills can’t run the ball and they shouldn’t be running it because it doesn’t lead to scoring and ultimately winning. As the man said it’s Deja vu all over again.

I just told you where they made changes and within those changes/ additions they have two new coaches teaching different technique. Playing more man to man in the secondary was the biggest talking point of the defense for months. They also hired a very good special teams coach.

Philosophy? They are not running their defense tonight. They are just running basic plays/coverages and seeing how the players handle it. they have changed in philosophy and staff however this year. Db coach and defensive line assistant technically. none of this stuff tonight has anything to do with how the team will look in the regular season

Yes he is terrible. He was awful yesterday.

He has been horrific in preseason. Dallas had two games wasted on offense essentially because he was so bad.

He tackled low with his head down. Big no no. he seemed to not have anything serious though.
