  1. I was really hoping to get houston this week. If Buffalo were playing houston sunday I would be confident in 10+ point win. Houston would be crippled in this weather. Pittsburgh is built for this weather and they are getting players back on defense and buffalo lost 3 players for this game and who knows with rapp. This is going to be a tight anxiety filled game, buffalo would have bullied Houston.
  2. The Dallas Green Bay game could be affected by the weather also. It is supposed to be 20 degrees ish with a chance of snow here in DFW. When this happens this whole place shuts down. Most of the people who own tickets to the cowboys live outside of Tarrant County where they play...(If I remember correct)....So people driving to the game are going to have to leave early or they might get stuck somewhere in traffic because of the weather. The irony of the potential half empty building at kickoff if the weather actually gets bad here is kind of funny since they have a dome.
  3. Gee I don't know maybe because they are going to be without another cb in Douglas? and spare me your elam can't tackle nonsense. We have no idea what the steelers are going to do.
  4. Seems happydays source had the injuries right. I imagine Dodson is not playing. I wonder if elam plays?
  5. No. Helmet to Helmet is an automatic penalty. Its different than the defenseless player rule. The league has been over the top about head protection and call really minor dings and then in the final game of the season with everyone watching a major helmet to helmet...he committed the penalty basically exactly to a T on how they call it....he lowered his head and led with his helmet and made direct contact to Johnsons head. the player was injured from the hit. No Penalty. had everything been exactly the opposite and Tua hit Hill and Poyer lowered his helmet and went head to head it would have been called and had it not it would be getting talked about 24/7 that the dolphins got robbed of points by a dirty player. For some reason NBC didn't mention it, barely showed the replay and never brought it up in the postgame. Pretty ridiculous
  6. I was just stating what McDermott meant. and yea it was a blatant penalty and they should have had an untimed down in which they no doubt would have gone for it.
  7. I think McDermott's point was you just launch that out of the back of the endzone and take the three. Had they scored and everything else played out the same that final dolphins drive would have been different and the tension would have been gone
  8. I have not seen it announced anywhere but has Baker been given a fine yet for the hit?
  9. I stand by what I said. They both had similar seasons with similar problems but both overcame them with some changes at Offensive Coordinator/play called and overcoming serious injuries. They won 10 games. No matter how they did it is not the issue. Its about how many not how. The bills needed to win to get in (essentially) and the steelers needed to win to get in (with Help) they both did it. They are separated by 1 win and have defenses that take the ball away. They both run the ball. Buffalo beat better teams down the stretch to get in for sure but that does not matter now...especially with the bills current injuries. They are very similar with Buffalo having Josh Allen as the biggest difference between the two teams.
  10. could be but it sounds like those guys were giving info to the media and creating problems. Sounds like they deserved it and wink is looking for a way to get fired so he can go wherever he wants.
  11. That was an early october game McDermott just said this is the most physical football team they have seen this year. The injury list is long and this is really concerning.
  12. The fear comes from the fact that the teams are basically even. When you throw in the Dodson, Douglas and Davis injuries this really becomes a challenge. These teams have had almost the same seasons. The defenses have both battled injuries and are among the best in getting takeaways. The steelers are great at taking the ball away in the redzone. There running game has looked better over the last few weeks while buffalo's running game has seem to lost some energy. They are running it a lot but they are not getting those big gashers anymore. Hines has like a 100 yards less than cook rushing and warren has come on over the last month. The differences and advantages right now are that Buffalo is at home and buffalo has Josh Allen. I see this game a lot like the Denver game. Pittsburgh is going to come in here and dare allen to throw the ball down the field, they are going to sit in zone, cover 3 like they play and dare them to take shots. Unlike Denver I think Pittsburgh can stop the run while playing zone defense on the backend. Will they be able to for four quarters without watt, I don't know but I think they are going to make buffalo prove they can run the ball against a light front before they adjust their backend to help. The Bills running game has not looked good the last few weeks, sunday was a little bit different situation but they just did not look as sound running the ball. Something has happened on the interior of the line also, they keep getting beat up front with pressure and torrence has made some mistakes killing plays. That is not a good thing to have on film going into the playoffs. on offense pittsburgh with rudolph has just decided we are going to play big physical football and run straight ahead and see if you can stand in there and stop them. Then when they get on the plus side of the field they will take shots and they have the weapons to make big plays. If they run the ball well they setup easy 3rd downs for rudolph and he has shown for a month now that he can manage the game really well. Whatever people think about rudolph's career does not matter because right now he is playing well. The key to the game is going to be Field Position. Much like the pats game if the Bills can pin them down over and over inside the 15 and stop the run the steelers are in for a long day on offense. Special teams are huge this week. The weather is going to favor Pittsburgh if they get a lead early. Josh Allen is the best player on the field and much like last week he is going to have to take over the game at some point. Hopefully early to give them a lead. anyway, the people who think this is a blowout simple win well I am not sure what steelers team you have been watching over the last month. The steelers have played here now this will be 3 years in a row and they are 1-1 so playing in the environment may not be a big deal to them especially when they want to run the ball 40 times. I hope the crowd is amazing and the bills have a lead coming out of the half.
  13. because its a meaningless thing people have been doing. no one should be looking for anything meaningful out of it....its nothing more than that
  14. Sounds like wink is a serious pain in the butt. Sure seems like he has behaved here completely unprofessionally
  15. Not sure if you guys are aware but she is just making a video following one of those annoying instagram/tiktok trends. Like I am from Buffalo of course I eat wings, I am from buffalo of course I like snow....etc.etc...
  16. The tailing off of the running game is a huge concern to me. This is either going to be remedied by Allen throwing 35+ times in bad weather or Leonard fournette is going to have a bigger role this week. and maybe Playoff lenny should be involved in this game more. The Steelers are going to come out and show they are the tougher team early and having this big dude run the ball on them and dish out some punishment might be just what this game needs.
  17. this is a terrible time to have these injuries. What a bummer
  18. What is wrong with people. This happened after New England at Dallas in 2015. Guy got into an argument, went to his car and came back and shot and killed another fan. Considering the manner in which fans talk to each other on social media I am surprised it doesn't happen more however. I was embarrassed from the stuff I saw from the bills fans online last week and after the game. Rooting for your team does not mean stalking other teams fans and attacking them for everything they say. Its crazy. People should be able to leave the damn house and enjoy themselves without the threat of being shot.
  19. I'm seeing on social media and in here a little bit already the same people who declared the bills would blowout the chargers and pats saying they will blowout the steelers. These same people are the first ones to complain and they complain the loudest when it doesn't go the way they expect. The steelers have played in Buffalo 2 seasons in a row and they are a northeast team so the Home Field weather element is gone but hopefully the crowd noise will be a huge factor....even at that though they run the ball so much that it will negate the crowd if they are gaining 4 or more yards a carry. This game scares me to death. The Bills running game has progressively leveled off over the last few weeks and the steelers have the guys to stop the run. I imagine this is going to be alot like the Denver game earlier in the year. They are going to run a ton, take shots when they are on the plus side of the field and get a man to man look and they are going to dare allen to throw the ball. Unlike Denver I think they can stay back and still stop the run. I feel like this is a 17-13 or 20-17 type game. Listening to everyone talk about a blowout and an easy win is going to make my brain go crazy this week.
  20. Brian Gaine is a Parcells guy though.
  21. man I have to imagine being the guy who replaces Bill Belichick in New England is going to be one of the most difficult jobs ever. Everything you do is going to be compared to how one of the greatest coaches of all time did it. I hope they get crazy and hire Matt Patricia. That should keep them drafting in the top 10 for a half a decade or so
  22. Speaking of Bill Parcells he always had a rule/guideline that an offense should have 7 points for every 100 yards of offense. I personally love the way this team is playing and I love that when they get the ball back with a lead now in that 5 minute situation they are 100% playing to physically beat you up and run it out and make the opponent use timeouts and they are not afraid to go back on defense in that situation. I have been waiting for them to play like this for a while. I love it.
  23. MLB has hurt the game with playoffs on various networks. It sucks they do it and it ruins the best part of the season.
  24. its just a long running joke. He actually fell asleep a few times when he was doing the show by himself and it was simulcast on the yes network so the video of it was funny.
