Exactly! Even if the Bills lose they’ll most likely get the #2 seed. Regardless of #2 or #3 there will be opportunities to rest starters towards the end of the season for a de facto ‘bye’.

Yeah that might be true but come playoffs time it’s a different story. The coaching staff want to turn Lamar into Mahomes and Allen by calling passing plays after passing. It’s a lot easier to defend Lamar’s passing than Burrow’s passing in the playoffs. So I hope Balt puts Cincy out of its misery tonight.

They’re absolutely not going undefeated. Even if they don’t lose any games they’re going to rest people as soon as the #1 seed is locked. However, come playoffs this version of KC would be tough to beat. Great defense that can limit opponents’ possessions paired with a methodical offense that eats up T.O.P. If they weren’t hit with the injury bug this year it would not be a fun season for the rest of us. Don’t be fooled by how ‘beatable’ they seem to look. You may be right. This was the offense they envisioned this year by signing Hollywood Brown and drafting Worthy to go with Rice and Pacheco. Injuries curtailed that plan but it seems Hunt and Dhop are filling in nicely for them.

Coleman is still young and finding his way. It’s not an issue yet imo. Cooper is a different story. But you’re right that he’s still the best wr in the bunch and this offense will be better for it.

If memory serves Mahomes had the worst or thereabouts defense statistically his first year starting. He carried that team to the AFC Championship Game and lost to the Pats. Great QBs like Mahomes can overcome bad defenses. Likewise with Allen. I believe Allen can and will overcome any defensive deficiencies one day. It might be this postseason.

I was half joking. As the last few playoffs have proven…seeding is overrated. Bills played them in KC and lost. KC and Cincy played at OP and we still lost. KC went on the road as the #3 seed and won it all last year. Why was that possible? They got hot at the end of the season. My point was regular season wins means very little against KC. Just win the division, which is locked at this point. Continue to improve and stay healthy for the playoffs. #3 seed is the worst we’d be and that’s fine. If the Bills win in a couple of weeks it’d be nice but ultimately won’t change anything. Likewise if it’s a loss.

Chances are we’d play both.
