  1. Interesting scheduling idea. It would be like what baseball used to have with the AL and NL playing only teams in their league before interleague play took over. I like the idea as divisional games and then conference games are more important to the division/playoff races.
  2. The Bills and Dolphins were both 11-6 with the Jets going 7-10. Taylor is a nice upgrade over Wilson, but he has his limitations. I don't think he would make up a 4-game difference in the AFCE.
  3. Not looking at the playoffs yet. I will say it will be fun to watch the two Packers-Lions games to see who wins the NFCN. Should be great games. As for the Jets I can't see Tyrod Taylor leading the Jets to a championship. The chances of Rodgers staying healthy are slim and none.
  4. Politicians on both sides lie. That is nothing new.
  5. Can't speak for anyone else but I never thought or said the 2020 election was stolen. No, he didn't win just like Hildabeast didn't win in 2016 despite the polls/media saying she was a lock to win. Who cares about 2020. We will have to wait until Nov, but I think Trump has an excellent shot to beat Giggles in 2024.
  6. NYC, LI, and Northern NJ are all joined at the hip and the Giants - Jets represent this region. The Jets used to practice at Hofstra which is right down the road from Nassau Coliseum and played their games at Shea before moving to NJ for the start of the 1984 season. All of these years later a good portion of the season ticket base still comes from NYC/LI. I would imagine the Giants have a lot of season ticket holders who also come from NYC/LI.
  7. I wouldn't put much into these "polls". From now until November it will be Trump is in the lead then Harris is in the lead and back and forth, we go.
  8. His health played a big factor. Plus, the other Dem big wigs (Obama, Pelosi) saw that he was going to lose to Trump, and I am sure they were putting pressure on him to step down behind the scenes.
  9. Who is raging. I am glad the Dems are going with Giggles. Guarantees a Trump win in Nov.
  10. He's been mentally dead for a long time now. At least his whole Presidency. I don't know who has been running the country these past 3.5 years but it's not the drooling vegetable.
  11. Party of Law and Order. Sure, they are. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/democratic-sen-robert-menendez-will-resign-next-month-after-corruption-conviction/ar-BB1quLuY?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=d2f02d0bde4844599a2d68deb1eec4b9&ei=51
  12. That's messed up. I never put political signs on my lawn or on my vehicles. That is just asking for trouble especially in today's society.
  13. Connor Hughes on X: "Sources: The #Jets made Haason Reddick a contract offer before the trade from Philadelphia. It would have been a raise from the $14.5 million he's scheduled to make this year. Reddick declined the offer. The Jets said if he wanted more ($25-$28m annually), they needed to see https://t.co/Ene7jlI6ZQ" / X
  14. Which is why if they go to an 18-game season the players will want a reduced preseason and two bye weeks. Personally, I was fine with a 16-game season, but they will never go back to that.
  15. Weather would be a pain. Look at Buffalo with the snow/wind late in the year. That Dolphins - Chiefs playoff game last year was brutally cold. More games mean more money which is all the league cares about. If the Super Bowl gets pushed back to the 3rd or last Sunday Feb, then the league will have no problem doing that.
  16. As you mentioned "Greed", so the league won't go back to 16 games. I do think we go to 18 games with a reduced preseason to 2 games along with 2 bye weeks. If that pushes the Super Bowl back to the 3rd or last Sunday in Feb, then so be it. Besides the Super Bowl, Feb is a slow sports month anyway.
