They are a successful organization when you look at their history. They have 6 Super Bowl wins overall. Just three head coaches since 1969. Knoll, Cowher, and Tomlin. Tomlin is a good HC. He has never had a losing season with the Steelers. The Steelers are usually in the mix for the division or WC most years.

Who's on your Mt. Rushmore of Physical Comedy?
Gregg replied to BillsPride12's topic in Off the Wall
I loved the scene where Jim is trying to get his driver's license, and he keeps asking "what does a yellow light mean" and Bobby responds, "slow down" and he gets repeating the question over and over but saying it slower each time. Classic scene in that show. -
2024 New York Yankees..........on to the World Series for 41st time
Gregg replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in Off the Wall
With the Orioles loss last night, the Yankees are back in first place. Granted it's only a half game lead but still nice to be in first. Should be a hell of a race in the AL East between the Yanks and Orioles. -
They should just rotate the Super Bowl between Florida, Arizona, Texas, Nevada, and California.

As a Yankees fan. Yes, it was

She should have picked Shapiro as he probably gives her PA. This isn't a good pick for the Dems. He is too far left. I think this will be a close race and I do think Trump will win it. We will see this November.

The White Sox are currently on a 21-game losing streak. They have a 27-88 record. The ML record for most consecutive losses is held by the 1889 Louisville Colonels who lost 26 in a row and finished their season 27-111. The NL record for most losses is held by the 1961 Phillies with 23 straight losses. The last team to lose 21 in a row was the 1988 Orioles.

With a lot of new faces in the WR group. I think Allen should play and get some playing time with this group. Just don't have Allen run and if anyone gets close to him then he has to throw it away. Getting reps in practice helps but it's not the same as playing in a game against another team. Remember how rusty Allen looked against the Jets last year. I don't want the same thing to happen against the Cardinals.

Walz is a good pick for Republicans.

Same here. I would like to see them get some game action as well. In the case of Allen, he needs to be told not to run and if anyone gets close to him just throw it away. Winning these games isn't a priority.

I don't think Tomlin has had a losing season since he has been there. Their defense is really good so I would expect the Steelers to be a competitive team.

Red helmet with white over blue looked pretty good.

$$$. You know how the NFL operates. Coaches also want to get a look at players who may be trying to win jobs. To see how they perform in game situations is important. Obviously, Allen doesn't have to play as we know he is the starter. But for players trying to make the team these games do matter.

Recession is upon us - disastrous economic data

She will blame Trump for this if she hasn't already. -
Especially with Allen throwing to a lot of new WR's. I get it if people say they don't want the starters to play. Injuries suck especially to lose someone in a meaningless game. But I wouldn't mind them getting some reps in the game. Like you said they risk coming out flat at the start of the season.

He had his share of physical comedy in the Naked Guns movies, but it was OJ's character who got "hurt" the most.
