  2. I lived through most of the miserable times. The 70's, 84-85. Back then a good crowd in 80,000 seat Rich Stadium was 50,000. Many of those games especially late in the year when the weather was miserable the crowds were in the 20,000 - 30,000 range. At this point in his career Rodgers isn't better than Allen. But if he can stay healthy (BIG IF) then he can minimize the QB advantage the Bills have over the Jets. Even at 40 he is a massive upgrade over Wilson obviously. The Jets defense is better than the Bills. On offense the Bills don't have a home run threat like Hall or G. Wilson. The Jets will be tough this year. It won't be easy for the Bills to win the division.
  3. The injuries especially to Milano and now Samuel have fans depressed/worried.
  4. Welker and Edelman were also pretty good, and TE Gronk was really good. Brady had some good weapons to throw to.
  5. Randy Moss would qualify as a big-time receiver.
  6. Belichick would have been a huge upgrade over McDermott both as a HC and DC. I say if McCarthy gets fired as he coaching without a contract for next year then I could see Bill as the Cowboys next HC.
  7. The Chris Berman Bowl. 49ers might get there this year. As for the Bills not so much.
  8. As great a QB as Allen is, he can't win a Super Bowl by himself. This team might win the division as the Dolphins and Jets will provide tough competition. They might make the playoffs but with this roster it is also possible they take a step back. The Bills are not a Super Bowl contender this year IMHO.
  9. He can still get one and that is very realistic. Can he get one with McDermott is the question. I wanted the Bills to go get Bill even though I know Terry won't do that right now.
  10. At this point I would settle for one.
  11. If the Bills have a down year, then maybe Beane and McDermott change their ways. Also, Terry is trying to sell PSL's along with increased ticket prices at the new stadium. A winning and contending team makes that much easier to do.
  12. Don't the Bills have a lot of money coming off the books and should be in much better shape cap wise after the season. Regardless of how this season plays out Beane needs be aggressive in FA. We need to get Allen some elite level talent to work with. The Bills will never win a Super Bowl if Allen is forced to play Superman every year for this team to win.
  13. We are going to be the NFL's version of Army football. Run the ball 95% of the time. A 1:00 Bills game will be over by 2:30.
  14. Just waiting for the Lamb to Bills rumors to start.
  15. Dov Kleiman on X: "WR CeeDee Lamb reportedly believes that the $33 million per year offer is too low for him to re-sign with the #Cowboys 🤔 Cash flow, guarantees, and how the deal will be structured on the front half are still keeping them apart. (via @MikeGarafolo) https://t.co/QpjuxggFnm" / X Week 1 is not that far away. That offense needs him. I am surprised this has dragged on as long as it has.
  16. The Bills need to do a better job getting to the QB with their front four. Have to make players like Mahomes, Burrow, Rodgers uncomfortable in the pocket. It's one of the main the Giants were able to defeat the former evil empire twice on the biggest stage. They got after Brady pretty good.
  17. I know it's only preseason and teams just use a vanilla game plan, but it would be nice to see the Bills offense score a TD this preseason before week 1 gets here.
