Maybe a better comparison would be with Elway. Both have/had a cannon for an arm. Early in his career Elway would run and scramble. Not to level that Allen does as it was a different game back then. As Elway got older, he was just a pure pocket passer. Of course, having Davis carry the workload running changed everything for Elway and the Broncos. Josh doesn't have an RB as good as TD was.

He has the record for rushing yards in a single season. Sorry Eric but 2,003 in 14 games beats 2,105 in 16 games. The difference is only 102 yards. If OJ played 16 games in 1973 he probably would have around 2200 or more the way, he was going that year.

You are probably right. Curious to see what they do starting tomorrow. I could see them wanting to bring in some veteran leadership as this is a young team. It's a team that is definitely ready to make the playoffs. They missed by only a point last year, so I expect them to make it this year as they are only going to get better.

Probably just a rumor. Nobody can sign until tomorrow but maybe teams are allowed talk to players and agents like legal tampering. Doesn't the NFL have that where teams can talk to players/agents even though they have to wait to sign them?
