    No, not enough difference makers on both sides. Not with Milano hurt, Rapp and Hamlin playing safety and the D line very average. And outside of Shakir, no consistent threat on offense — yet. That could change as Cooper and Coleman evolve in their roles. But the team can win if Allen is smart and we're well coached.

    You can't pay everyone. I would take a chance with Elam as number 2 CB next year in order to pay for Josh's weapons (might have to extend Cooper or get someone else) and pay for proven D-line experience. Benford, Rousseau, Shakir might be extended and not a lot of cash left.

    The scheme is predicated not giving up big plays and requires a LOT of play to score. The higher the number of plays in a drive, the higher the chance of a mistake, like a fumble. IMHO.

    I don't think Harlan has mentioned that Josh threw a pick enough. Especially given it was a good throw.

    Not Josh's fault. After avoiding picks for 7 games and getting lucky on some bad throws not being picked, bad luck is happening to. The way it goes. Coleman has to hold on.
