Hopkins is already #1 in government grants. over $3 billion in 2022. But I think Harvard should just put patents on any research discoveries not publicly funded. trump wants to monetize everything. why shouldn't the elite universities do the same. Things like assistantships for grad students and money for scientific instruments and supplies to promote knowledge that will help everyone.
