3100 protesters were arrested. if they broke the law, then that's appropriate. 97% were nonviolent. That's much more than Jan 6 thugs. Plus they weren't trying to overturn an election... -

if, as Forbes reports, he's worth 7.5 billion, 400 mil is about 5% of assets. I have more than 5% of my portfolio in liquid assets. Right now, they offer very good returns at minimal risk. 5% of assets should be relatively easy for him to raise even if he needs to liquidate some solid positions. The real question is why lenders don't trust him enough to lend him $400 mil when he is supposedly worth so much more? the Forbes estimate shows liquid assets nearing $400 mil. Guess they were wrong. https://www.forbes.com/sites/danalexander/article/the-definitive-networth-of-donaldtrump/# In regards to financial chops, I do fine. You? -

If I were a multibillionaire I’d have secured terms long before the verdict or freed up the cash. I wouldn’t have needed to go cup in hand to lenders. Also, why did trump have an outstanding loan from a North Korean linked lender at the beginning of his presidency. His “empire” is all smoke and mirrors. His dad illegally lent him millions to keep his casino from going bust but it only bought him a few months. The guys a con man and crook. But you were certain he paid all his judgement… -

Sure. That’s equivalent to wearing an auschwitz shirt and beating law enforcement with flag poles. Now about that $400 mil bond… -
No. some unfortunately, do. And both groups seem to overwhelmingly support trump. Why is that? Remember this asshat? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/jul/25/from-the-kkk-to-the-state-house-how-neo-nazi-david-duke-won-office No, I'm not a fan of BLM. I think the idea was ok but the implementation was not. But I'm glad to see they take a different viewpoint. That's what democracy is about.

I certainly think they should be under suspicion and surveillance. If they’re hiding their faces they’re likely up to no good. Ummm… and these morons were flying nazi and kkk symbols. So there’s that. Anyone would think we’re on a hate group forum the way some here get so defensive… It’s a diverse group. Any that are threatening or violent should be arrested and prosecuted like any criminal. Conversely, hate groups are pretty uniform in their anti social behavior -

Do you believe there are still people and hate groups who espouse the ideology of the subhuman with the hoodie? Do you think that's a good thing for our country? The pic is relevant. The threat is real. And it should be highlighted in the election by Kamala. Me thinks Thou protest too much.... -

Trump 2024?
Joe Ferguson forever replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
We were out with a couple from Manhattan last night. They told a story about stolen pianos so I had to look it up. https://www.courierpostonline.com/story/news/politics/2016/07/05/trump-lambasted-casino-regulators/85928852/. It's true but I didn't know the granular details of other illegal activities in his failed casino. This should show you how much respect the crook has for the average Joe. . Michael Diehl, owner of Freehold Music Center, sold the Taj Mahal eight pianos for $100,000 in 1989. Trump, he said, “wanted everything perfect." But Diehl said he was stiffed on the deal. He waited for months for his check and eventually took out a loan to pay his manufacturer. A few months later, the Taj Mahal offered him three options for payment: take 70 cents on the dollar, wait until the casino was profitable or force it into bankruptcy and get pennies on the dollar. “I had no other choice but to swallow the bitter pill,” said Diehl, 88, who lives in Millstone Township, New Jersey. He took the $70,000 payment, losing 30 percent on the deal. -

Cool. We never finished the point about trump's failure to secure a $400 mil bond. you kinda dropped that. Conjugating verbs aren't really that difficult. -
