Ya know, A2C, that is exactly what I was thinking when I posted it, but never said it. Thank you. They beat the Broncos by 50. In '21 we beat the Texans, a team who beat us a couple of years previously in the playoffs, by 40 on a terrible weather day. Sure, there was a bit of revenge. However, I have no memory of us being overly jerky to them or their fans afterwards.

We live in this world of weighted and staggered rankings wherein the Eagles are ahead of the Saints. They’re not.

Guns, brother, I did debate (myself. at work. out loud) about just putting where they were ranked in each, but I just think there is more to it than that, including seeing the teams immediately above and below. GAS, put me in the category of having no problem with taking a team that is just balling and putting them all te way to number 1. Honestly, I am with you and I will die on that hill with you. The Saints are number 1 right now. Really, so just deal with it since technically these rankings don't matter anyways. Not the BS of, "Well the Chiefs were champions, and they've earned it, and Mahomes, and they are 2-0 as well..." No, this is 2024 and this is two weeks in...its New Orleans.

And GBF, what are they 2-7 since we played them last year? Additionally, I have a tough time phrasing this, but I think this is the closest to what I am thinking...Jalen Hurts is a very successful QB, but is not necessarily a winner, if that makes any sense.

How do you do that, though, 9? How do you sit there, see this team at 0-2, see this other team at 2-0, both are playoff teams from the previous year, and say “yep, that team in the hole is better because blah, blah, blah.”?

The only reason why I am fine with it, GBF, is regardless of their struggles...man...it just seems like they might explode on offense anytime. ...not for sure, but just seems that way. EDIT: BTW, can we please have the conversation that the Eagles don't belong in the top 6?!

Yeah, but never really "seemed" like it, or passed the smell test. 13-4, and yet with the 23 season done, head to head on neutral turf, I am putting a few teams (at the time) I believe would be capable of beating them. KC, Buffalo, Detroit, San Fran, and maybe...maybe even the Pack and Rams.

I won't argue with that, but yeah as we've all essentially stated before they get SO MUCH love and we're not sure why. 9 seems a little low, but I get where you are coming from.

To be clear again, everyone, we’ve beaten the chiefs before. Repeatedly in their own barn. We were one injury riddled game away from taking the lead this decade. We have yet to beat the Bengals. I’m fine with the Bengals losing. Yes, they normally start slow. However, here’s hoping the trend of losses continues. sick of hearing about those guys.

I was there with my brother in 1980. I will never forget it as long as I live. Weirdly and twistedly, Royale, that is why I want the phins to make the playoffs. I would like the Bills to get three wins against them this year and 2 next year to take the lead. On the morning of October 18th, 1970...54 years ago, was the very last time the Bills lead Miami in the all time series. 4-3-1 before kickoff that day. Holy mackerel that is crazy.

BTW, another one. Congrats to the Bills on their 50th regular season win of the decade (50-18). 13-3 11-6 13-3 11-6 2-0 ...weirdly why do I think the Bills might get 13 wins this year? 🤣

I disagree only from the standpoint (depending upon Tua) that the Dolphins are still good team and will win games. …it’s just that we own their a$$.
