  1. I want 4-3 looks on 3rd down with him lined up at OLB
  2. this where I'm at 100%. If he's trouble or doesn't produce in camp....easy cut. IF IF IF he's a changed man with a lot to prove.....could be jackpot for us
  3. he has somehow managed to have more receptions in 6 fewer career games than Gabe Davis
  4. Hmmm well if he wakes up, Claypool runs a 4.42 at 6'4 230 lbs ....
  5. I'm sure a good portion of that was his own doing....but the teams/situation and QB play also is a factor. comeback player of the year. Why not!!!
  6. Chris Brown and Tasker talking about it now. Claypool's #'s are not far off from Gabe Davis (except the TD's) Claypool has a higher catch rate Chase: 58 Games 175 Rec, 2261 12.9 13 TD Gabe: 64 Games 163 Rec, 2730 16.7 27 TD Claypool has had below average QB play......
  7. or maybe they want WR's that can win vs physical press in the playoffs?
  8. Don't forget Curtis Samuel! I'm starting to believe he's going to get way more targets than expected
  9. Von Miller Greg Rousseau AJ Epenesa Javon Solomon Dawuane Smoot Casey Toohill Kingsley Jonathan Kameron Cline
  10. Keon Coleman Curtis Samuel Khalil Shakir KJ Hamler Mack Hollis Chase Claypool Justin Shorter Quintez Cephus Should he be higher on the depth chart?
  11. Yea. I'd rather take a chance on Claypool than bring Zay Jones back in. I'm stunned Claypool is only 25 would have guessed much older
  12. Let's finish off this BIG trend the right way DK Metcalf Keon Coleman Curtis Samuel Khalil Shakir Chase Claypool Mack Hollis Justin Shorter
  13. Obviously Beane and Sean know MUCH more than you or myself. He could be a changed man If he is, this could be really really good
  14. Is Joe Brady's offense going to be screens and quick hits to huge physical WR's to play Bully Ball & then just "chuck it up" for contested catch?
  15. For all we know, Chase Claypool could legit be a Born Again Christian now and be motivated to play football If he causes trouble or is a bum, he can be cut in camp On the 7% chance it works out......imagine we get some version of what he was his rookie season.
  16. I don't know much about him, but there's quite a bit of natural physical ability there If Beane/Sean/WR's coach/Brady believe they can get something out of him, who knows Suddenly, we have some Huge WR's Keon Coleman Justin Shorter Chase Claypool Tyrell Shavers Quintez Cephus
  17. At the very least we've added guys to battle in camp. Claypool and Hamler both have skills There is also a MASSIVE trend suddenly with adding lots of size at WR Maybe when Beane and Sean spoke of Explosiveness, they were thinking of physical size ? This trend also slightly increases my hope we target DK Metcalf in a month Or bring in as much as you can with players who have shown talent and let the cream rise to the top?
  18. Forget his height........he looks extremely difficult to deal with
  19. He seems to really know the game
  20. His Power and nastiness would be a welcome addition from the C spot. I'm rooting big time for him to win the spot as a rookie. I'd rather keep McGovern at Guard But I won't be surprised if they put Van at LG and move McGovern to C
  21. We certainly upgraded from Klein's family vacation Milano Bernard Morrow Alaskan Nigerian Dorian Williams Deion Jones
  22. Good point....it could be chaos. I'm not too thrilled with the change. I'd have just moved the kicker back 10 yards personally and take away the fair catch
  23. The edge rusher is quick off the line of scrimmage and has huge hands, measuring at 10-and-three-quarter inches, and a long wingspan of over 80 inches compared to his 6-foot frame. Solomon finished with two sacks and two forced fumbles in Troy's 2023 conference title win. Brugler noted that, despite being smaller than many edge rushers in the NFL, Solomon's blend of traits in the pass rush could make him a valuable addition to a defensive line. "Solomon has a unique collection of traits in a smaller-framed body, but he is disproportionally long with the bend, burst and motor that make him a pass-rushing pest," Brugler wrote. "Solomon's play style is built on spurts of speed, power and having a nose for the football."
